I love that scene from "Dumb & Dumber."

Claiming the Apollo landings were a hoax is really one of the most ingnorant beliefs a person can cling to. Short of giving the unbelievers a ride to the lunar surface where they can inspect the footprints and tire tracks themselves, there's not much more than can be done to prove we did what we did. They shoot lasers off reflectors left there by the astronauts, for crying out loud. But one the great things about conspiracy theorists is that anything that points out the fallacies in their beliefs can simply be dismissed with "That's a fake."

I just hate that Buzz Aldrin doesn't have time to make the rounds and punch all the "No Moon Landing" nuts in the face like he did that one guy.

My ex-wife did this (recorded over) with my archives of Bugs Bunny tapes. Needless to say, this is one of the big reasons why she's my ex.

Just saw this post and it may well be the most heartrending story I've ever read here on the Rx

Imo the strongest and simplest argument in favor of the moon landing is that if it was faked the Russians would have LOVED to expose it but not even a peep from them

41 years later, not one rat. Not one eyewitness, not one family member, not one iota of evidence disclosed by a deceased participant's Will or family

it takes a lot a faith in something that doesn't exist to think the moon landing was faked.

another conspiracy that involves thousands upon thousands of people, yet there is absolute silence

Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curryraised an incredible amount of money on EBay for a pair of his shoes – his Curry 6 ‘Moon Landing’ shoes that were game-worn.
The money went to a good cause, as Curry’s shoes went for $58,100, with all the cash going to to STEM programs in Bay Area schools.
The ‘Moon Landing’ shoes were custom made by Under Armour, and were part of the Curry 6 line. Curry had worn the shoes in a game before he went ahead and autographed them and then they were auctioned off.
The fundraiser kicked off on January 4th, with the proceeds going to STEM, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics programs for Bay Area schools.
The special shoes featured a moon rock print with a NASA logo and “United States” on the toe tips, while stars and stripes adorn the shoes’ tongue tabs.
They were worn by Curry during a Warriors game against the Houston Rockets at Oracle Arena.
Oddly enough Curry garnered a lot of attention for coming out and saying that the original moon landing was a “fake” on a podcast.
Curry later on after a firestorm on the media and twitter clarified his comments, saying that he was “joking.”

This thread is better than yours IMO.

You have some seasoned posters who sound really intelligent on this subject. Then we have your post.
I wonder who I should form my opinion around? Hmmmm

Lolz. Are you this dumb? You sound like a liberal. No arguing of points or analysis. Just attacks that don't deal with the question at hand.

Did you make any attempt at explaining the lost "data and technology" that NASA lost? LMFAO

Here is a "NASA astronaut" speaking on the issue.

I know it's hard for you to break away from your brainwashing.... much like a kid has a hard time accepting Santa is not real... but you'll get there.

Btw, in relation to my moon thread and this one, you'll see that this one was many years ago ... and had more "believers". The ratio in my poll is 45 believe and 15 not believe.

If you ran a poll at that time, it would've been about 40 believe and 5 not believe.

40 years ago it would've been 44 believe and 1 not believe.

Do you see the progression?

As the years progress -- if censorship and full mind-think doesn't happen as what is planned to happen in Europe -- then the poll results would get to about even... and then as the truth come out.... it will be 5 believe and 40 not believe. As some will still hold on to their brainwashing.

Do me a favor. Watch this video of the actual astro-nots that worked their "magic" on the moon.

Tell me this looks legit and that they're ecstatic to be the first humans to walk on the moon, to have achieved such a great accomplishment.

Just watch the video and tell me that's what you see.
