SirBet extended its apologies for the mistake at hand directly to the customer, which understood at the time we were testing a new software interface. As much as we try every day, we simply cannot perform mistake free 365 days a year. SirBet prides itself on prompt payouts without fail and will at anytime payout a customer’s entire balance if requested (including now). However, we are unaware of any outstanding payout requests that have not been processed. SirBet will continue to make all strides forward to make all experiences at our sites enjoyable.

This will be the last time SirBet posts regarding this issue. All further business will be handled via email via corby@sirbet.com. I would prefer to handle business that way rather than over the internet.

Put it in the wrong account? ROTF...they open up the account when they take plays. You are cracking me up, Halifax. Maybe you can provide a more detailed explanation of how a LEGIT shop can make these types of errors. Quite honestly, I have never seen it occur.

As you have failed to name a particular LEGIT shop that has made these types of errors, the presumption is that you are unaware of LEGIT shop that has made these types of errors.

Errors do happen at all shops. Maybe we do not hear of them all, but errors happen.

Kind of a pointless thread to start, in my opinion. I'm sure if dogball was having continuous problems, or if anyone else was having problems with them, we would be hearing about it.

All the more reason to be aware of potential problems

Any stiff shop can pull that excuse

A class shop would have tested the software on themselves prior to testing it on their clients.

I predict that we will never hear which software company it was, nor will Corby provide any reason at all for failing to process and acknowledge the payout request that was made.

It is quite obvious, Corby, that you are running from this thread for a very good reason...you do not have an explanation that is well founded in fact and logic. If you did, then I have no reason to believe that you would not provide that explanation and be willing to stick around and answer questions that may follow your explanation.

It makes little sense to handle inquiries on a piecemeal basis as you have suggested that you intend to do. Please indicate if you object to me posting your response to my emails in this thread.

By the way, Banned4Life just mentioned similar errors with e-horse. I think by all accounts, e-horse are considered legit.

Hali, sure I have had problems occur, but never anything that approaches this. I am curious why you term this an "occasional problem or two." I sense that few gamblers would characterize this occcurrence in those words. We will of course wait to see who agrees with you. We will also wait to hear the name of a LEGIT shop that has made these types of errors.

I think Sirbet is trying to keep other info out of here. It's called player confidentiality. If Dogball wants to post the whole story, then he can.

There is more to the story as i spoke with Dogball a couple hours ago. I know the whole story. Sirbet has apologized above. I do not know what more you want from them or what you are really trying to achieve here.

What is the goal of this?

General, please indicate if you would provide the same response if this book were not advertising here. I am curious to see how many people support this shop when this appears across the street. Again, if you are aware of a LEGIT shop in particular that has made comparable errors, then please come forward. As you have characterized these errors as ones that happen at "all shops," then I trust you will have little difficulty in naming a SINGLE legit shop that falls into this category. thanks, ham

Dear Corby-

Please kindly indicate the name of the software that you were using. Please describe the nature of the "interface" that created the errors in the player's account. Please also indicate any measures that you took to address this with the software company, including descriptions of any correspondence as well as the name(s) of the individuals with whom you spoke to at the software company, if any.

Yes Ham, I have experienced errors at bigger, more popular books. Not only me, but i have received complaints from others. This is not my first rodeo buddy. As in this case, a phone call will fix the problem.

Should i post them here, so that you may slander them as well? I will not because in most all cases that come to mind, The book has repaired the error, apologized, & in some cases credited the player a little extra for the misfortune.

Is that the goal here? To get the names of other books so that you can slander them?

General-

I doubt that slander will occur in a posting forum since slander is by definition "spoken" and not written. You are thinking of libel.

If this truly is a common problem among legit sportsbooks, and it is no big deal as you have suggested, then I see no reason why it should be a major topic of discussion.

I trust that you are not aware of a single LEGIT shop that has committed errors of the same magnitude that Sirbet has in this instance. If you are aware of any such LEGIT books, please feel free to email me in confidence and you have my word that I will not disclose the identity of that shop. However, I will take measures to confirm the accuracy of your report.

I am still waiting to hear the name of a SINGLE LEGIT shop that has committed comparable errors. Of course, the conclusion that naturally follows is that this shop is simply not legit...
