Dead on. The Freeh report leaves very little doubt that Paterno knew about Sandusky molesting kids as early as 1998.

I have mixed feelings about shutting down the Penn State football program for a couple of seasons -- it does seem unfair to the players who are there now and had nothing to do with any of this mess -- but mostly I think it's something the NCAA should consider very, very strongly.
I feel about the same way about the Death Penalty. After seeing what happen to SMU, I have a feeling the NCAA will never hand it out again. It basically destroyed SMU for 25 years. They've gone from a football power within the Southwest Conference to a non-AQ school. Destroying PSU would also weaken the Big 10. Something they don't need at this point. I don't see it happeneing.

Will the current football players on penn be allowed to transfer and be eligible to play this year? I bet their phones are already blowing up with calls from other coaches.

Scott that picture is epic just need to photo shop some kids on the coach and behind it and it goes into the internet hall of fame

I also don't think it's likely at all the NCAA would lower the death penalty boom, but Penn State needs to start taking pre-emptive action and disassociating itself from the Paterno days.

come on....its common practice for grown adults to shower with youngsters...aren't you in the loop?? Bunch of fucked up individuals at that place.

Then he liked to send them home with no underwear. Fucking sick-o. Sandusky won't last a day in prison. I don't care if they place him solitary, someone will get to him.

I think they should investigate the board of trustees. Paterno's name should be tarnished for his involvement however I believe this goes way beyond Paterno.

Don't even know if the NCAA is able to take any action under their scope. Reading the full report now, long ways to go but something that definitely stands out thus far.

"Before May 1998, several staff members and football coaches regularly observed Sandusky showering with young boys in the Lasch building (now the East Area Locker Building or ''Old Lasch''). None of the individuals interviewed notified their superiors of this behavior."

WTF? Not to say they witnessed assault but 'several' people saw this BEFORE 1998 and didn't think it was suspicious? Wonder who these people interviewed are
This is the million dollar question. Will the NCAA get involved? If they do start looking into it and finding a way in, PSU could be in a world of trouble. But you never know what the NCAA will do in these matters. They are the most erratic organization when it comes to handing out penalties while completely disregarding others. After reading these findings, I can't help but think something bad will come down on Pennetration State.

Here's something else to think about: Would Penn State voluntarily shut down the football program for one or two seasons of "reorganization" in hopes of heading off more severe NCAA and/or governmental punishment?

What league is the Vatican in? Who does the Pope coach for?

Are you having a hard time following the discussion?

The Catholic Church should burn too. PSU covered this shit up for years...ergo they should burn as well! Both of them have committed crimes for which their is no punishment but death that is fitting.
