Brother it is your choice.

If you pay then you can continue to say:

Let me start off by saying my track record for paying forum bets is 2nd to none. On a scale of 1 to 1000, my credit score is 1000. I have paid countless forum bets to perfect strangers hiding behind posting handles with the best of them.

If you don't pay then you HAVE to say:

Let me start off by saying my track record for paying forum bets is almost perfect. On a scale of 1 to 1000, my credit score is 900. I have paid countless forum bets to perfect strangers hiding behind posting handles with the best of them. Only one time did I not pay someone.

Nobody has mentioned that no way in hell Journey should except the money

If he knows he didnt pay others he should tell Chop either A.It is going to pay Cigar or whoever or B to keep it.

If I was JMan and knew I wasnt paying others no way in hell would I then except money from another wager.

Choptalk, I definately don't think you are a stiff, that is why you are just wanting to do what is right.
Having said that, I agree that a stiff always looks for an excuse to stiff somebody. Since you are not a stiff, it is definately the right decision to pay if you loose. The only way anything going on is relevant is if journeyman stiffed you in the past, which it doesn't sound like has happened.

This is why I wanted to get this debate started before the bet was complete.

This is an open wager.

Nobody has won or lost this bet yet.

I want to come to a resolution before a winner is determined.

Im leaning towards paying, but it sure is a sick feeling knowing that if I win, my odds of getting payed are slim.

How do you know your chances are slim?

Thanks everyone for your wonderful answers.

ITS OFFICIAL.

IF I LOSE THE BET, I am going to make an effort to contact JMAN and pay him the money.

So am saying it right now, this thread cannot be used as an excuse by the other party to not pay me if I win.

HAVE A NICE DAY

Can I ask a question.

It seems like the only one J man didnt pay was Cigar. He has been around the forum a long long time.

Has he ever stiffed anyone else? I just dont think from a dispute he is having with one guy should be a death sentence on his stiffness.

Now add clown to your resume right next to the word bigot...you pay the man you made the bet with...there is no other solution....
Because it makes a lot of sense to pay off a bet to a person that would have stiffed you. If the person would have stiffed you, the bet basically never took place.

Here's a question to see how dumb some of you people are. Lets say jman and chop had 2 bets going. Lets say jman loses the first one and stiffs chop. The second bet, jman wins. Should chop pay jman?

Anyone want to bet that Chop and Jman are the same person?:ohno:
I'll bet you that Chop and Levi are gay lovers and they also are high ranked officials of the KKK.
