GIANTS +1.5 -126 at Indians (Zito-Sowers) (OR +161)
BLUEJAYS -165 over Reds (Halladay-Harang) (OR -1.5 +132)
REDSOX -148 over Diamondbacks (Wakefield-Johnson)
CUBS -175 over Orioles (Lilly-Burres)
ROYALS +108 over Rockies (Hochevar-Cook)

Comments:
In the Giants/Indians' game, we like the moneyline on the Giants (+161) about as much as the runline (-126), and in the Reds/Bluejays' game we like the runline on the Bluejays (+132) about as much as the moneyline (-165). Six of one, half-a-dozen of the other. Here in the newsletter we took the conservative choices.
If you agree with these three big moneyline favorites today, (the Bluejays, Redsox and Cubs), you might consider using a 2- or 3-bet parlay. If you do use a parlay, remember to risk the same as you risk on individual bets. If you risk "100" on single bets, be sure to risk "100" on your parlays.

Another big day yesterday as they nailed their 5 unit play on Minnesota as a +147 dog. They had a 3-1 finish for +9.3 units. Yesterday's win sent them over the +100 unit mark as we now sit at +101.6 units and 60% (119-79) over the last six weeks.

Very impressive.

Today:

4 Units: Kansas City
4 Units: Minnesotta

I guess YWN sucks now. Just look at these horrendous records. Granted, it does not show units won and lost for each capper, but unless you have proof that the records are wrong or you have records showing units won and lost for every game (the information is available at their site each day) for a capper (using the books with the best juice), then I do not understand negative comments to the effect that these cappers have now become crap.

Perhaps megamillions can weigh in on the legitimacy of the records and the units won.

If you think that every capper is going to be hot to your satisfaction or as a group will have a great record every day, then you should not be gambling. Or if by playing hit and miss with these cappers you think that you can come to a legitimate judgment about any of them, you should not be gambling.

And for those that do not like chalk, chalk does not mean anything, it is the units won and units lost that counts and nothing else. If you do not like the chalk, you can play the game at minus one run by playing some at the runline and some at the moneyline where you end up with a push if the team wins by one run.

youwin is smoke and mirrors, the idea is that if you lay 140-180 one play a day every day you'll hit at a good enough percentage to continue to sell to suckers buying into the winning percentage and not units. When these guys aren't hot they get murdered because they are laying such high numbers. Overall on the season they have to hit well over 60 percent to turn profit to make up for the amt of juice they lay, nevermind the fact that your paying for the service as well. Anyone can lay heavy juice day after day and run around in a circle like 95% of the guys on uwin do but the real way to make money during baseball is small priced favorites, underdogs and totals.

JUNE = 14-7 (67%)....2008 = 151-72 (68%)...Over 220 FREE Bets...

1.) CUBS -1.5 (+105) (1*)...this may be one of the "squarest" bets on the board, but the oddsmakers went ahead and showed us exactly what they think the outcome will be with the 40cent jump in the opening number from last night's match-up...and more importantly, the books showed no reluctance to move that even higher...all the way to -200, with no fear of "steam" taking the plus money. Without going through details about the offensive and defensive power-rating edge the Cubs have in this match-up tonight...the fact that they are just so dominant at home, where they have a SLG% of Over ".500", and now facing a LHP ...after losing at home...and also starting Lilly, who they have won 6 of 8 home games with...and the only concern I can possibly see is the fact we are going to go ahead and make it a RL bet to avoid the big chalk. Best of Luck, VR...

Potentially can be smoke and mirrors if you do not give units won and units lost, and how much smoke and how much mirror depends on how much of a difference between the two records. Not long ago I posted that Winners Inc had a units winning % of 60% using his won/loss record and net units and assuming all of the winners were favorites. I think his won/loss record was around 65%. In this case the smoke and mirrors amounted to around 5%.

Try to look at this objectively, at least let me do that for the group here. I dont do anything with these plays so no issue either way to me.

Winners is one you usually get day in day out. They're run is 14-9. Lets assume avg juice per play is 150 (Im pretty sure it would be higher if we went back over all 23 plays). Betting 100 per game. Thats 9 loss at $150 = $1350. 14 win at 100 = $1400. Up 50 gross, minus $25 x 23 picks = $575. So you owuld be down $525 playing each play in that run.

Win percentage isnt what it appears to mean when betting baseball. You can do the same math on the others. To their defense, they have had some good straight win streaks on a short term basis.
