Pick: Diamondbacks +105

“1 UNIT” BASEBALL INJURY INTANGIBLE (Diamondbacks +105 at home versus Braves in a 9:40 eastern start------Teheran versus Saunders): For those not aware Atlanta was one out away from suffering a loss against lowly Houston yesterday before picking up a clutch homerun both in the bottom of the ninth and in extra frames. Despite the triumph what was surprising about yesterday was that the Atlanta offense was one-out away from being shutout even though a pair of injured starters returned to the lineup. Chipper Jones had missed consecutive contests with a bad knee that may eventually require arthoscopic surgery, while Jason Heyward was sidelined for 6 contests due to shoulder problems. The playing status of both Jones and Heyward for this evening are QUESTIONABLE which means the visiting Braves will enter this particular contest with a depleted lineup which is good news for struggling Arizona hurler Joe Saunders who is coming off a very close “one run” defeat. On the mound for Atlanta tonight is highly touted 20-year old Julio Teheran who is making a “spot” start due to an injury in the Braves rotation. This is actually the second spot start for Teheran who lasted LESS than 5 innings in his major league debut which resulted in a road loss at Philadelphia. From all accounts he will be once again sent back down to the minor leagues following this appearance as Atlanta’s goal right now is to give this extremely young hurler a “cup of coffee” in the majors. Getting back to Joe Saunders his lone career appearance against the Braves resulted in a victory where he threw 7 brilliant SHUTOUT innings. My database research indicates that in his career, Saunders has gone an excellent 12-3 when cast as a home underdog of “125 or less” and that is the case tonight

Bulls' 19 offensive rebounds in Game 1 represented Miami's worst game on defensive boards all season; Chicago bench was +55, Heat's -41- lack of depth for Miami is evident. Chicago is 6-1 at home in playoffs (4-3 vs spread) with only loss Game 1 vs Atlanta; Miami won eight of its eleven playoff games, with six of last seven going over total; they're 2-3 on the road, scoring 82-81-82 points in the losses. Miami is 0-4 vs Chicago this season, with three losses in regular season by total of 8 points. Lebron and Wade took four FTs each in Game 1; they can't win like that.

Vancouver outshot the Sharks 13-7, outscored them 2-0 in third period of Game 1, scoring twice within 1:19 early in third period, with winning goal scoring on power play. Vancouver won four of five meetings with San Jose this year, with three of Canucks' four wins going over, the loss staying under. Overall, Sharks are 5-4 in last nine games in this building. San Jose had two days to rest after Game 1, which should help after the 7-game Detroit series; they scored on their only power play in Game 1. Vancouver was just 1-4 with man advantage (6:47), but that goal was the game-winner.

GC MLB Play

Wednesday Highest Rated Semifinal 23-0 NBA Power System leads big card that has Never lost MLB Total of the week System Play + 94% Total and Undefeated NL System Side. Deep card with 4 Big Power Plays. MLB On Tuesday Postponed. MLB Free System play now 11-2 run below

On Wednesday the MLB Free System Side is on the Florida Marlins. Game 904 at 7:10 eastern. The Marlins fit a nice system that has cashed 30 of 38 times and plays on certain home teams off a road win where they scored 4 or less runs on 5+ hits vs an opponent off a road dog loss. Florida was our big play last night and was postponed, tonight they qualify in a different system and have R. Nolasco on the mound. Nolasco is 12-1 on 5 or 6 days rest. He opposes R. Dempster who has a hideous 8.21 road era this season. The Cubs are just 5-10 vs winning teams and Florida enjoys the extra day of rest as they come off a big road win in New York on Monday. The Cubs blew the game late in their 7-5 loss vs the Reds. Look for the Marlins to take this one. On Wednesday I have a Big Card led by the Big 23-0 NBA System play and the MLB Total of the week. Jump on this Big winning card now. For the Bonus Play take the Marlins. GC
