1500* - Boston College Eagles, 500* - Pittsburgh Panthers, 500* - Boston Celtics Boston College has had a few extra days to get ready for this roadie at NC State, as the Eagles last played at home on February 24th in a win over very tough Florida State, 72-67.
That was only BC's 2nd win in their last 5 games, but I believe the extra time off, and the fact they are taking on a team they have been able to solve of late is going to put Boston College in the winner's circle for us this Wednesday night.
The Eagles won the season's first meeting, 79-68 as the 5 1/2-point home favorite back on January 24th. That ran the series winning streak to 4 in a row and 6 of 7 both straight up, and against the spread.
The Wolf Pack have played middling basketball pretty much all season long, their most recent slide at 2 in a row, and 3 of their last 4 in the loss column.
Sure it is senior night in Raleigh, but can you really trust the 15-12 Wolf Pack to step up in this spot against the 20-9 Eagles...an Eagles team that owns outright wins over Duke, and North Carolina this season!
Look for Boston College to come through tonight minus the points on the road.

Marquette is in trouble tonight, as do-everything guard Dominic James is now lost for the season with a foot injury suffered over the weekend in a loss at Louisville.
Bad break for the Golden Eagles, and the fact they are coming off a home game against UConn, a road game against the 'Ville, and now must hit the road once again for a date against Pittsburgh without one of their starters is trouble with a capital "T".
Pittsburgh has won, and covered in 2 of the last 3 series showdowns, and the Panthers are a positive 7-4 against the spread in their lined home games, while going a perfect 17-0 straight up!
Things will get away from the scrappy Golden Eagles, and even though this price seems rather lofty, Pitt will get on top of this number come the final buzzer.
Lay it!

In the NBA, about time for the Celtics to put a licking on someone, as Boston came back home from their lengthy road swing and split a pair at home, dropping both against the spread.
New Jersey is coming off a road win last night at Milwaukee to make it a 3-1 straight up run their last 4, and a 4-0 run against the spread in those 4.
Based on those facts, you could see the points with the host being the way to go, but with Boston owning 7 straight wins and covers in this series, I will put my trust in the C's to extend those margins, even without KG in the lineup.
This could be the game Marbury makes his mark for Boston.
Go with the Celts minus the points on the road.
