Just yesterday one of Oakland's best starters Brett Anderson flew back to the west coast and may have to underdog tommy-john elbow surgery. The A's have already lost Dallas McPherson to a season-ending injury and a host of other hurlers (Brandon McCarthy, Tyson Ross, Rich Harden) are currently on the disabled list. As for the already weak Oakland offense starting infielder Mark Ellis made an early exit last night with a strained hamstring and is questionable. The A's just sent starting thirdbase option and veteran Kevin Kouzmanoff to the minors in what was a stunning move. Getting back to Baltimore they have WON 7 of the past 9 games at HOME. But the big news is that Baltimore is a spectacular "8-1" this campaign when facing an opponent with a poor winning percentage of between 38-and-46%
