Go with the Phillies with their ace Roy Halladay on the hill. Philadelphia has won six of their last seven games versus the Rockies and the last five in Colorado. The Phillies are 6-1 in Halladay's last 7 starts.

2-Unit Play. Take #903 Under 8 between Washington Nationals vs. New York Mets (Tuesday @ 7:10pm est).

Today is very similar to yesterday's play. We took the under in this series yesterday and it worked out as the game totaled at five. And, today's pitchers are just as good if not better than yesterday's hurlers. This is a division game and obviously for that alone, it will be competitive. Olsen has been a great find for the Nationals as he has given up just one earned run over his last three starts spanning just over 20 innings. Note, all three of those games also went under the posted totals of 9.5, 8.5, and 8.5. Those games totaled 5, 8 and 1 total run. Jonathan Niese continues to come around for the Mets and after three straight quality starts, he notched his first non-quality start in his last effort. That alone will be the catalyst for him for to have a quality start in my opinion today. Bear in mind that Jonathan had given up just two runs in 18 innings in three starts, and most recently he gave up four runs on 12 hits in six innings on the road in Cincinnati. I like both pitchers to do well today as this game likely goes under the posted total.

4-Unit Play. Take #734. Take Cleveland Cavaliers -7.5 over the Boston Celtics (Tuesday @ 8pm est).

I know the spread seems like a lot, but this is the same situation these two teams had in Game one if you remember. The Cavs were favored by -7.5 and guess what? They ended up winning by eight as the public got buried. In games like these, between these two teams, lopsided victories are not unlikely. Take a look at game one when the Cavs won by eight points. In Game two, the Celtics won by 18 points. In Game three, Cleveland won on the road by 29 points. And, in Game four, Boston ended up winning by ten points at home. Each of these games, it has been a fairly wide differential as it is compared to the spread. Such is the case today as this is a best of series now with two ballgames in Cleveland and one in Boston. I like the Cavs here at home to bounce-back well from the last loss they suffered. Let me be frank, I think the Cavs are the better team here and I'll use the last game as an example. After getting crushed by nearly 30 points by the Cavs, the Celtics nearly lost their last ballgame to the Cavs at home. It took a 23-15 fourth quarter for the Celtics to hold off the Cavs. Now, imagine the Cavs coming off a loss, which they have been historically brilliant at home and in the playoffs off a loss as they return home. The Celtics are just 2-9 ATS in their last 11 ballgames following a straight up win and the Cavs are 4-1 ATS following an ATS loss.

HEAVY HIT OF THE NIGHT

NY Yankees vs. Detroit 7:05 EST
Detroit +140
As good as a start the Yankees have had, they are not a stellar road team. The weak link in their pitching goes here with J. Vasquez.
They are 1-4 in his 5 starts, and he was a favorite in every one.

BASEBALL Tuesday

Well it's that day of the week!
Halladay time. But this one is real special.
The 1st time he gets to pitch at his home.
Still, the line being the usual high we have no fear and lay the 1 1/2 runs and -120.
The offense will come thru for their new star in his home debut!
Philadelphia -1.5 Runs

Seattle -135 and here the old Phils star will shine (Lee)

Tampa -124 whats with my Al team.
These one run losses have got to start going the other way.
I'm sticking with the team that will be fighting the yanks come playoff time

Burning up the hoops

With Rondo coming off an historic 29-point, 18-rebound, 13-assist performance in Game 4, Cavaliers coach Mike Brown said Monday he plans to use an assortment of players to try to slow the seemingly unstoppable Celtics point guard and one of them could be James, the league's two-time MVP and a first-team all-defense selection.

Needless to say, it will be impossible for a repeat of that performance in Clevland.
Lay the 7 and take the Cav's

all plays posted here and on his BLOG day after

20 Wins 22 Losses 2 Ties in NBA since 4/14 -$2010 from using the amount of money bet on the last 100 selections on his page. 22 Wins 22 Losses 1 Tie in MLB since 4/14 -$870. Total Paid plays since 4/14, 42 Wins 44 Losses 3 Ties Down $-2880

That is his record from his page he has the rest as Bonus Play 1 NHL game and one he used twice on the same day I didn't count. The $ amout I came up with was the $400-$500 he puts next to the games
