It's hard to see why this total is set so high with these two teams struggling on offense. That's not even to mention how well Arizona starter, Doug Davis has been pitching lately. Over his last 3 starts, Davis has a 0.86 ERA, improving his season number to just 3.15. The Padres are averaging just under 4 runs per game, while the D-Backs are averaging just over 4 runs per game. This game seems custom fit for a play on the Under.

Sometimes when you look over a game, you try to seek out and play against a team that is in their worst possible position to win. The Orioles fit that description tonight. They have played well at home, but on the road this young team has a tremendous drop-off offensively. The O's plate over five runs per game at home, but the road tally is just 3.8 and they are off a whitewash last night, which is their second problem. They are at their worst against left-hand pitching. The O's are scoring 5.3 against right handers, but just 3.8 against lefties, and face one of the top lefties in the game in Eric Bedard tonight. Bedard is 39-22 over the last four years, so I'm going with the Mariners in this one.

MINNESOTA TWINS +120 W/ BAKER
The Yankess do usually play the Twins well but they are in a stretch of playing their 8th straight game without a day off and the bullpen has been used quite often over the last week.
Sabathia got lit up in his last start and even though the Yankees are 4-0 vs. Minnesota this year all of those wins were 1 run wins where the Yankees came from behind at home.
They wont have the same success on the road. Minny is a great home dog.
