*San Francisco over Chicago by 12 (Thursday)

This is sure to be an emotionally charged Thursday night nationally televised
game with 49ers coach Mike Singletary facing the team he played for
as a star linebacker. We prefer the fiery Singletary at home against laid-back
Lovie Smith and his Bears club that has failed to rally around new quarterback
Jay Cutler. The Bears have lost three of four games away from Solider
Field. They’ve been outscored, 112-58, in their four road contests. Cutler
has been picked off 10 times in the four road games with seven touchdown
passes. Cutler was treated as a savior coming to Chicago. Fact is he’s
an erratic gunslinger. He’s thrown more interceptions than touchdown
passes in his last four games. The only teams the Bears have scored more
than 25 points on are the Browns and Lions, whose combined record is 2

14. It’s unfair to put the entire blame on Cutler. Chicago’s offensive line has
been disappointing. So has running back Matt Forte, experiencing a sophomore
slump after a strong rookie campaign. The Bears’ defense has
regressed not having Brian Urlacher. The Bengals and Cardinals torched the
Bears for 89 points in two of the past three weeks with their quarterbacks
combining for 10 touchdown passes and no interceptions. Chicago may be
without its best cornerback as Charles Tillman has an injured shoulder. The
49ers are a solid 4-2-1 ATS in their last seven home contests. SAN FRANCISCO
28-16.

Miami O.* over Bowling Green by 1 (Thursday)

Sometimes a very tough loss is the precursor to a break-through win, and the way
that the RedHawks competed from behind at Temple last week sets them up to get
over the hump vs. the soft Falcon defense (only three takeaways in six M.A.C.
games). MIAMI 31-30.

Northern Illinois* over Ball State by 14 (Thursday)

A late-season bye can be a boost for the Cardinals, who are 1-4 in league play
despite winning the rushing battle four times, and that ground game can slow this
tempo to make the pointspread look even larger. NORTHERN ILLINOIS 30-16.

South Florida over Rutgers* by 2 (Thursday)

Bulls should arrive with a vengeance after viewing films of last year’s 49-16 home
debacle vs. the Scarlet Knights, especially since it was more of a giveaway (six
turnovers) than any kind of physical domination. SOUTH FLORIDA 24-22

Cleveland over *Miami by 3

Miami jumped out of the gates fast winning and covering five of its first six games,
while playing outstanding defense. The Heat, though, lacks the firepower to knock off
the Cavaliers. CLEVELAND 97-94.

*Los Angeles Lakers over Phoenix by 8

The Lakers’ offense has been down with Pau Gasol sidelined during the first few games
of the season and receiving little punch off the bench. Still, the Lakers have too much
defense for Phoenix on the road. Since last year’s All-Star break, the Lakers have gone
under in 12 of their last 15 home games as a favorite of eight or more through the first
week of November. LA LAKERS 102-94.

Denver Money's NHL Thursday 11/12

We got another sweep yesterday and picked up 6.00 units with the sweep. I just love today's NHL card and really had to keep myself from making a play on every game today! But we still have our largest card of the year so far with 6 plays in all. Best of luck if you fade or follow:

3* Ottawa / Philadelphia OVER 5.5 -120

2* Montreal / Phoenix OVER 5.5 +120

1* Montreal +120

1* New Jersey +105

1* New Jersey / Pittsburgh UNDER 5.5 -145

Florida +1.81 over BOSTON (REG) Pinnacle
The Bruins are playing much better but they’re still struggling offensively and we could catch them a bit flat tonight after a four-game stretch that saw them play Detroit, Montreal, Buffalo and Pittsburgh. Those are four games the B’s get up for, as the Sabres and Habs are perhaps its two biggest rivals and everyone gets jacked up to play the Red Wings and Penguins. Now they get a “breather” with the Panthers coming in and it’s also worth noting that the Bruins have the Penguins on deck again on Saturday. The Panthers record is not a good one but they’ve played much better on the road and that could be attested to the fact that their building is empty when they play at home. Contrary to what some think, the Panthers are a dangerous team. They have plenty of good, young talent and recently won three in a row before back-to-back losses to the Caps. It also appears that the Panthers will get two healthy bodies back tonight in Domenic Moore and Radek Dvorak. The situation is a vulnerable one for the B’s and frankly, they really can’t be trusted as this big a favorite right now. Play: Florida +1.97 (Risking 2 units).

Minnesota +1.33 over TAMPA BAY (REG) Pinnacle
Speaking of good situations, this is another one that favors the visitor. The Lightning return home after a four-game trip that saw them play at Philly, Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa. After playing to four jam-packed houses in which there was excitement and motivation the Lightning will now play in its atmosphere-less own dead arena. Teams are rarely sharp coming home from a trip and it’s very likely a lot more difficult to come home and respond to a three-quarter empty joint. The Lightning are coming off a win but only once this year have they won twice in a row and that came over Carolina and Florida. Meanwhile, the Wild are feeling it with four wins in five games including consecutive road wins in Pittsburgh and Toronto. They also beat the Rangers and Dallas over that stretch and it’s also worth noting that Niklas Backstrom is in the zone right now. Backstrom has been brilliant while Tampa Bay still has some goaltending issues, as neither Mike Smith nor Niittymaki has been consistent. We’ve all seen the Lightning pull a number of no-shows this season and this is an extremely unfavorable spot. Play: Minnesota +1.33 (Risking 2 units).

R.Vinciletti Thursday NCAAF System Club Play

On Thursday night the system club play is on Bowling Green. Game 107 at 6:00 eastern. Bowling Green is a solid 11- 3 vs losing teams, including 8-2 on the road. In weeks 10 through 13 the Falcons check in at 7-1. Miami Ohio is in the midst of a terrible season and is 2-9 vs losing teams. Look for Bowling Green to hand them another loss here tonight, in this weekday MAC conference game. Those looking for a Thursday night bomb. Consider a 21-2 system play in the Thursday night NFL game and a solid 90% system in the early TNT NBA game which features the Cavs and Heat. Dont miss these two Power house plays. Jump on and cash out now. For the College play take Bowling Green. R.Vinciletti

15 DIME - MIAMI-OHIO REDHAWKS

5 DIME - SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

FREE SELECTION - SOUTH FLORIDA

15 DIME - MIAMI-OHIO REDHAWKS -Let me get this straight.

You are 9-1 SU the last 10 in the series and you are getting 3 1/2 points at home tonight and the underdog has won the last 4 between these rivals? That is good enough for me.

This is a Redhawks team that played two teams currently in the top 10 early in the year with Boise State and Cincinnati, took their lumps early and are a better team right now because of it.

Over the last 5 weeks they stepped up and been competitive in every single game, picking up their first win of the year along the way.

Let's start with the 16-6 loss at Northwestern, the same Northwestern team that just knocked off undefeated Iowa. If that is not convincing enough, let's look at their last 4 games.

Against 3 of the best teams in the league; Ohio, Temple and Northern Illinois, only the Ohio game on the road got out of hand courtesy of 4 Miami-Ohio turnovers. No shame in that seeing as Ohio leads the country in forcing turnovers.

At home to Northern Illnois and at Temple, they were in both games down to the wire, losing 27-22 to NIU, and a heartbreaking 34-32 loss at Temple.

Folks, Northern Illinois will be facing Central Michigan at the end of the year for one half of the MAC crown while Ohio will be battling Temple for the other half to see who faces off in the MAC Championship.

Miami/Ohio is playing their best ball of the entire year right now facing their rival at home getting 3 points.

I am not taking anything away from Bowling Green. They have a great passing attack and Freddie Barnes is a game-changer, but the fact of the matter is I don't think Bowling Green should be laying points to anybody right now.

Miami/Ohio has nothing to lose and playing with a whole lot of confidence and I will roll with them tonight.

5 DIME - SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS - (if 3 1/2 you buy the 1/2 and lay 3. Never get beat by the hook.) - I just don't trust Jay Cutler on the road against anybody right now.

When you are a QB in the NFL and you have no running game to compliment your passing attack, let's just say you are a lamb being led to the slaughter.

That is the problem facing the Bears right now.

You examine the Niners and you will see a 4 game losing streak, but if you look closer you will see losses to Atlanta, Houston, Indy and Arizona.

No shame in that as you might end up seeing all 4 of those teams playing in January. At least 3 for sure with the Texans having an outside shot.

I know the whole world will be on the Niners here but they are without question the right side of this game.

Another huge problem facing the Bears tonight is they can't stop the run, and if you can't stop the run in the NFL, you are not going to win football games. PERIOD.

All the advantages are with the Niners here who I feel are better coached, better running game and a better defense.

I will make the Bears on a short week travel out west and play error free football. I don't think they can and I am pretty darn confident Cutler will figure out a way to implode.

San Francisco is the play.
