St. Louis Cardinals vs. Washington Nationals
St. Louis Cardinals RL+1½-160
St. Louis (Miller) at Washington (Strasburg) (-150) at 1:35ET
5* St. Louis +150
The Cards held on for the 4-3 victory last night. Though we got back-doored on the run line when the Nats scored single runs in the 8th and 9th. That S.t Louis victory boosts their regular season record against Washington to 9-1. Over that time, the Nats have just a .163 BA. Strasburg remains overpriced. In his most recent outing, Strasburg last just 6 inning, allowing 6 runs on 8 hits in an 11-2 loss to Miami. That balloons the Strasburg ERA to 6.00 for the season over which time he has allowed 33 BR in 21 IP. Far prefer Miller who comes off a solid outing in the 6-1 win vs. Milwaukee. Lasting 6 IP, Miller allowed just 1 run on 3 hits with 7 Ks. In 12 2/3 IP last year against Washington, Miller allowed just 1 earned run on 7 hits. We take this series dominator at an underdog price.
