The Baltimore Ravens have to come into this one in a Super-fowl mood after getting upended two weeks in a row by New England & Cincinnati. They got by the KC Chiefs, a mediocre SD Chargers team & the lowly Cleveland Browns the first 3 weeks which doesn't hold much water. I'm afraid facing the Minnesota Vikings is a considerable upgrade especially in the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. The name of the game in the NFL is turnovers when considering a team to cover ATS. Minnesota holds a BIG edge in that category having a +8 turnover ratio compared to Baltimore's +2. The Vikings also rested for the 4th quarter with the game in hand against St. Louis yielding 206 yards giving way to misleading stats. Expect a run-stuffing defense of Minnesota to converge on Flacco forcing him into sacks, hurries and mistakes. One big reason for this is the mismatch between sack-hungry DE Jared Allen and rookie OLT Michael Oher or an injured Jared Gaither. On the other side of the ball, you have the 40-year-old Brett Favre (the 4th since 1966 to start at this age) who will know how to keep a secondary-challenged defense honest with dinks and mid-range passes to Berrian, Rice, Harvin & Shiancoe. This will open it up for Adrian Peterson to break a few when the aging Ravens defense tires in the second half. With Favre, Minnesota knows there's nothing they can't do offensively. This confidence has already translated into a 5-0 & 1st place in the Black N' Blue NFC North Division. With Flacco still with less than 30 games under his belt, he remains a risk for high pressure defenses to force the turnover. This may be a competitive game for a bit, but Minnesota's plethara of offensive weapons will help them pull away by at least a TD. However, this game is all about line-value. Our New Improved & Prime-time Ready Play is to take the Minnesota Vikings on the ML for $200.

Carolina may have gotten their first win last week by way of 3 Washington Redskins' gifts, but the ball may not bounce in their favor in an obvious flat spot against a team with a weak pass defense. It actual helps the Buccaneers out to face a team with an obvious pass deficiency. Jake Delhomme has been a self-destructing leader with a 3/8 TD/INT ratio who has a ground game that remains inconsistent. Both defenses are allowing 26+ points per game so I expect a very entertaining game this afternoon. It seems that the Bucs have the more mobile quarterback in Josh Johnson (has a 3/4 TD/INT ratio after 2 road tilts) who can buy time with his excellent mobility in the pocket. Johnson spread the field to find 7 different receivers just in the first half sgsinst the Eagles. The bulk of the action today will belong to TE Kellen Winslow & WR Antonio Bryant. The Carolina defense hasn't been as dominant getting to the QB this season with just 4 sacks. Tampa Bay has played a brutal schedule mainly against the stingy defensive teams of the NFC East like Philly & New York. Coming in today is a very familiar divisional foe that they know how to beat. Starting back to December and going thru ehxhibition & regular season up to this point, the Panthers have now lost 11 in a row versus the spread. The Buccaneers will find a way to neutralize Peppers who has been a thorn in the Bucs side having 8 1/2 sacks the last 7 Panthers-Bucs engagements. Of course, we will buy the 1/2 a point to + 3 1/2 and then take the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for $200 to win as our Sneak Up Bite You In The Ass Dog!

The Washington Redskins for starters will have Randy Thomas & Chris Samuels out from their offensive line which will lead Chris Cooley boggled up to block more on the line of scrimmage. In essence, new defensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs, Clancy Pendergast knows how to keep the Redskins in check from his Arizona fame as does Head Coach Haley. Add in the mix KC's new 3-4 defensive alignment which can cause major problems for Jason Campbell and his offensive by disguising pressure all day long. Somehow I don't think the West Coast offense is best suitable for Washington or Campbell. Without great protection, it's very difficult to find Antwan Randle El & Santana Moss on a consistent basis. Horrible play calling is just adding to the misery. This is part of the reason why Jim Zorn is on the chopping block of Dan Snyder. On the other side of the ball, you have Matt Cassel running an offense that has only yielded an output of 250 total yards per game. One other criteria factoring in here is the weather conditions. FedEx Field in Landover had a lot of rain over the past few days and it will be cold with 20 mile an hour winds at gametime. I'm expecting many runs and dinks throughout the afternoon with a lot of jockeying for field position. The field goal opportunities will be a little tricky with the swirling winds so we might find 4-down territory all the way down to the 25-30 yard-line. Neither teams' rushing game is over-powering enough to put up monster numbers. Now for the undefeated 20-0 perfect system. The Kansas City Chiefs are 0-9 UNDER going back 17 years after a loss against a non-divisional opponent in which they were winning at the end of the third quarter. The Washington Redskins are a perfect 0-11 UNDER since December 30,2007 as a favorite. These unbeaten systems and factors herein have us playing $300 on the UNDER making this our O/U Play Of The Week With a 20-0 Perfect System.
