30 Dime - Seahawks plus the points over the Bears. As this selectnon is being released at 11 pm ET Saturday, Seattle is currentdy between a 6 and 6 1/2 point pup.
Last week the Bears beat up on the rookie QB Clausen and looked like they had recovered from the brutal beating they received at the hands of the Giants. This week the Seahawks come into town off a bye and with a refurbished running game, when they acquired Marshawn Lynch. Lynch is a big back that can wear down a team and the Bears will be without star LB Lance Briggs. That puts it all on Urlacher to stop him all day long. The Hawks also get back star rookie OL Okung for this game as well. He gets the lovely assignment of Julius Peppers but who can handle him in this league. What I definitely see happening here is Seattle working during the bye on bringing the kitchen sink to attack the fragile Cutler. Let's face it, he is one good hit from being on the sidelines for the rest of the day and I certainly can see that happening. Seattle special teams are better than the Bears with Leon Washington back there returning kicks.
This game is definitely under the radar but not under ours. The opener was Bears-6.5 and with 75% of the bets coming in on Chicago the line as of this writing was Bears -6. That's a major reverse line move. considering the amount of bets coming in on the Bears.
5 Dime - Texans over the Chiefs. As this selectnon is being released at 11 pm Eastern Saturday, Houston is currentdy a 4 1/2 point chalk.
Texans are in a bounce back situation here against the Chiefs, who are also coming off their first lost of the season. I can't see KC and their offense being able to take advantage of the one was to beat the Texans, through the air. For whatever reason, Charlie Weiss and the Todd Haley, have not really let Cassel look down the field this season, so how are they going to take advantage? I don't see it. Texans on the other hand open at home as a 3.5 favorite and it ticked up almost immediately. That is a really good thing to pay attention to. Sharps will hit a favorite early if they like them and don't see the public coming in on the dog to give them any break. Arain Foster should get back on track as the line will not get out of hand as it did last week, basically removing the run game from the equation. Schaub hasn't really had that breakout passing game that most expect of this offense and taking advantage of the rookie Berry might be a good place to start.
5 Dime Teaser - Ravens +8 1/2 and Falcons +8 1/2
As of this writing both the Ravens and the Falcons are +2.5. if they are still at those numbers this morning then go ahead and play the teaser of the Ravens and the Falcons at +8.5. If they are at the 3 then I still think they would work fine at +9
