Classic sandwich game here with the Bengals coming off an emotional high beating Pittsburgh last week and now having a let down against Cleveland. With Baltimore on tap next week the Bengals may get caught looking and lose this one outright. Last year the Ravens humiliated Cincy 34-3 in Cincy and beat them in the first game 17-10. The Bengals amped from their win over Pittsburgh is hungry for a shot at the new number 1 in the AFC, the Baltimore Ravens.
Thing is they are overlooking a Cleveland squad hungry for a good game under new head coach Mangini and Cincy is a possible victim. Cleveland won 20-12 last year on the road and then 14-0 at home and with big time revenge on the mind and Cincinnati sleeping and possibly looking ahead watch out. The Bengals are just 1-5 before facing the Ravens.
Mangini has the better QB running the offense right now with Anderson catching seven against a Cincy team that might be spent from that monumental effort against Pittsburgh and could become prey today. Neither team is very good and that said makes this number too high. I am seeing 6' most shops so look for 7 but definitely a play still at +6 and +6'

Too many people down on my hometown boys to not think Washington will come out and blow this one open. Tampa Bay is horrible on offense, the Redskins defense is pretty solid. Tampa Bay is in a new defensive scheme and the secondary is struggling. Do I hear Jason Campbell finally airing it out in D.C.
Jim Zorn has to do something with this team that just can't put points on the board and is reeling from back to back poor showings that had them squeak by the Rams and lose to the Lions. Those circumstances get us great value with a line that should have probably been in double digits given Tampa Bay's long laundry list of woes on both sides of the ball.
Washington's poor offensive performance has given us an opportunity today so let's take full advantage of it and play Washington at -7' up to -8. The 'Skins have the tools to put points on the board and Jim Zorn is under a lot of pressure to give this offense a chance to perform. The playbook will be wide open today in what will be a Washington double digit win.

When this line came out I was begging for Baltimore -3 so you know when it opened at Ravens +3 I was on it and have been ever since playing it all the way down to it's present 1'
If you got this play early from me you could of made a moneyline move and got +120 but a tough find now and at +105 to +110 better off taking the points in this one.
The Ravens are flat out the better team in what is going to be a great matchup today. Baltimore has a much better offense and offensive line than they have brought to this battle in years past. New England's suspect defense might get tested a little today by Baltimore's underrated receiving corps.
Baltimore has given up 20 pays of 20 yards or more already this season and that is cause for concern but listening to Ravens players all week on radio and local media they will be ready to clamp down today with Ed Reed anchoring the secondary and Ray Lewis in the middle. This Ravens team has a big game defense and it will show up today and harass, pressure and beat on Brady and company. I would have played Baltimore as a favorite in this one and like them to win outright but on a 100 dime play we'll take the points. Shop for +2 but o'k to play at +1' or even +1 (I released this play on Thursday and am grading at +2)

We catch the Tians playing their third road game in four weeks and reeling from an 0-3 start and desperate for a win laying 3 on the road in Jacksonville in an AFC South matchup. Somebody pinch me please. Jacksonville is better than it appears while the Titans on the other hand may not be what everyone expected. It seems there is some realigning going on in the AFC and the Titans are not invited. Even if they win today they have a tough road ahead of them.
The Titans run defense has been superb and should be able to slow down Jones-Drew but with the Jags trying to get the passing game going facing the depleted Tennessee secondary could be the in they need to take to the air. Tennessee is riding a lot of trends to be a 3 point favorite today including covering 14 of their last 19 against division foes and covers in seven of their last 10 road contests. There will be a lot of "No way Tennessee goes 0-4" people out there playing into this Titans squad that was overvalued when the season started.
Jacksonville is flying under the radar with blacked out games in their TV markets and obviously empty seats. The heat is on Del Rio and the Jags will take to the air with enough success to maybe pull off the upset but at least stay within the field goal we're getting. Play Jacksonville plus the points today.

Two bad teams equals one low scoring game. The Bengals spent from a huge effort to get a last second win over the Steelers will put forth a sub par effort today against a sub par Browns team. Don't expect a lot of offense out of this one today especially with Cincinnati 1-5 before the Ravens which by the way Clevleand is coming off of playing last week. Expect their offense to spread its wings a little after being shut down by the Ravens. This game stays close and low scoring as it goes under the number today.
