Eagles At Cardinals
We could make this a dissertation, but want to stick to the key points to watch today.
Cardinals:
Fitzgerald & Boldin have become one of the leagues best receiveing tandems.
After High School Fitzgerald spent a year at Valley Forge Military Academy and matured.
Boldin is all heart. But.... unless his DNA is different than others....
How do come back from his type of Hamstring injury in 2 weeks? Bet he doesn't last.
Compounding problems on the same side of the line, is the absence of tight-end
S. Spach, who is important in many blocking schemes.
Edgarin James has fresh legs, but won't be surprising anyone.
Eagles:
The secondary has not given up a touchdown in 6 games. To win a game like this
you need one side of the football that's "Lights-Out". That would be the Eagles-D,
which is arguably the best in the league right now. They have great rotation on the
defensive line. It will be no surprise to see 8 men in the box combos again this week,
like against the Giants, but you will see lots more blitzing. The Eagles don't want
to many long man-to-man matchups against Arizona's receivers.
On offense, we told you to look for Avant last week, and he had a great game.
He will be used more this week, as will Hank Basket and Buckhalter.
DeJean Jackson will be used lots early to open up the field.
Westbrook should be healthier than many think. There will be more available
holes against The Cardinals, than there were against The Giants.
Lots has been said about the Eagles going from 10 degree weather to much
warmer temperatures. But... the game will be played indoors, and The Eagles practice
at home in an indoor bubble.
Take The Eagles -3.5
VS.
Ravens At Steelers
It's so easy to take the Steelers with their great defense, and rejuvenated offense.
The Ravens are like chameleons on defense with great coaching by Harbaugh & Ryan.
Parker will not be able to run like he did last week.
Money keeps going on Pittsburgh, but not ours.
Take The Ravens +6
We're putting a little on Baltimore to win the game + 210
