2* Washington/Cubs GAME 1 UNDER 9.5, -115
No chance, even with the wind, I trust the Cubs to score enough to warrant a 10 spot being dropped today. Yesterday, the Cubs scored a few late (in the 8th I believe) and that's part of why we're seeing this number a bit higher than normal. Plus, we have Beeler throwing for the Cubbies today and there's just not much data/stats out there on him. I usually like to play UNDERS and/or the team with the unknown pitchers in the 1st 5 as hitters haven't seen the stuff. So I like the odds of the new pitcher mowing through the order the first time through, and hopefully part of the 2nd time through. Lastly, Gio (due to regression, mostly) is better than his statistics show. Taking a stab on the UNDER here today.
2* SF Giants -120
I just don't see the Reds being motivated tonight to beat the Giants after taking the first 2 in this series. Their job is done. That and Simon has been good so far this year, but he's pitching out of his goard FAR more than ever in his career. Cain gets the job done today and the Giants win.
