$25.00 Guaranteed: We all want to win once, but how about 3 times? Jack Clayton has parlayed three big baseball plays from Saturday's card together, including a 5-Star Home Field Blowout. If you like to win, grab this bundle of 3 baseball winners, then go to the bank 3 times Sunday!4/8/2011 4* 7:05 PM EST MLB (973) TEXAS RANGERS AT BALTIMORE ORIOLES: I'll back the defending AL Champs at this price against the young Orioles. The Texas Rangers enjoyed their first day off of the season Thursday, when they didn't have to pick up a bat or a glove. They look refreshed and confident, and this offense is so potent. This offense is second in runs scored and first in slugging. The Rangers are 8-3 in their last 11 road games. Texas starter Matt Harrison earned the rotation spot with a strong spring training and held the Red Sox to one run over seven innings, striking out eight. Harrison created some noise this past spring and early in the regular season with his improved velocity and improved slider/cutter hybrid and he will have little trouble with this weak Baltimore offense that is 26th in baseball in on-base percentage. Texas has the superior bullpen, if needed, as well. Play the Rangers.
3* 8:10 PM EST (961) CINCINNATI REDS AT DIAMONDBACKS: Cincy is playing great, out to show that last year's surprising team was no fluke. This offense is No. 1 in runs, on-base percentage and third in slugging. Cincy has a veteran Bronson Arroyo going here against a bad Arizona offense that is 23rd in baseball in runs scored. He has had 20 or more quality starts in five of the past six years, thrown 200-plus innings in all six, and tallied a 4.06 ERA and 1.28 WHIP during that span. The offense has an excellent balance of speed and power to hit in this park and Arroyo was 10-5 on the road last season! He also owns weak offensive teams, such as Arizona, a club he is 2-0 against striking out 13 in 13 innings with only 2 walks. Play the Reds.
5* Home Field Blowout: 7:10 PM MLB OAKLAND ATHLETICS AT (976) MINNESOTA TWINS: Minnesota is far better than they have started the last week, opening with a six-game road trip. They have home field here, a place they were outstanding in last season. The Twins were 53-28 in Target Field last season -- the most home victories in the American League. And having light hitting Oakland come to town, a team a long way from home. Oakland stater Gio Gonzalez throws great at home in spacious Oakland, but his ERA on the road was a run and a half higher (3.92) away from home last season. Minnesota has owned up, as well, as he's just 1-2 against the Twins with an ugly 10.61 ERA against them! This is not an easy park to pitch in and it's only been around for one year, a huge edge for the Twins, who have the far better offense. Play the Twins!
