Orlando vs. Atlanta 8:00 EST
Orlando -5.5
Just a bad matchup for the Hawks who are now on a 1-9 series dive SU/ATS. Orlando has won by 43, 14, and 30 points already, and their winning streak now stands at 13 in a row SU and 12-1 ATS. A few extra points on the impost don't scare us away. Hawks are outmatched and can't put it together as a unit to win one against a much better team.

NY Yankees @ Detroit 7:00 EST
NY Yankees -118

Tampa Bay @ LA Angels 10:00 EST
Tampa Bay -139
Tampa Bay with M. Garza on the mound has cashed 5 of his 6 games this year. Angels' J. Pineiro - he has been very hittable of late with a 9.98 ERA over his last three starts.

PITTSBURGH PENGUINS -170

As they did in their first round matchup against the Senators (a game which I had), I believe the Penguins will win on on the road in Game 6 and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals:

Pittsburgh will look to take advantage of Canadiens team that lost another defenseman as Hal Gill was forced to leave Saturday night's game after he was sliced on the back of the leg.

“We expect desperation on their part, and we have to make sure that we are prepared to play our best game of the series,” Pittsburgh captain Sidney Crosby said following Saturday night’s 2-1 win at Mellon Arena.

Pittsburgh has played its best hockey of the post-season on the road; 5-1 its last six on enemy ice.

On the other side of the rink: In complete contrast to that, the Habs are just 2-4 their last six at the Bell Center.

Marc-Andre Fleury became the first goalie to shut out Montreal on home ice in the playoffs in 27 years in Game 3. He made 18 saves in the Penguins’ 2-0 win in Game 3, ending the Canadiens’ streak of 118 home playoff games without being held scoreless.

Fleury has bounced back nicely after a couple of sub par efforts and I believe he'll be the difference tonight for the Penguins.

Bottom line: Montreal's cinderella story ends tonight; Jaroslav Halak has secured his spot as the Habs #1 next year, but I believe will succumb this evening to the superior, more skilled and deeper team; *6* play on the PENGUINS!

NEW YORK YANKEES -120

Mitre/Willis listed

The Yankees are coming off a 9-3 loss in Boston last night. I expect them to bounce back tonight against lefty Dontrelle Willis. The Yankees are batting .297 and scoring 6.52 runs per game against lefties this season. Several Yankees have had success against Willis in limited at-bats, including Derek Jeter (1-for-3, 1 BB), Mark Teixeira (2-for-6), Robinson Cano (1-for-3), and Randy Winn (5-for-18, 1 HR, 1 2B). I expect more production from this Yankees lineup tonight considering the way they're handling lefty pitching this season.

Sergio Mitre gets a spot start tonight while Andy Pettitte recovers from left elbow inflammation. Mitre owns a solid 2.79 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, and .250 OBP in 9 2/3 innings of relief work this season. Only two Tigers hitters have ever faced Mitre: Adam Everett (2-for-5, 1 2B, 2 K) and Miguel Cabrera (1-for-5, 2 K). That should give Mitre and the Yankees an edge at least the first time through the Detroit lineup.

Bottom line: While Willis owns a solid 3.99 ERA that improves to 3.27 at home, his 1.50 WHIP (which goes to 1.64 at home) is concerning. That's a lot of base runners to be giving a potent offense like the Yankees. And the way they're hitting lefty pitching, this could get ugly. Take the Yankees with Mitre over Detroit and Willis.

TORONTO BLUE JAYS +160

The Jays were swept by the Red Sox earlier this season, but this is a very good spot to play on the Jays tonight. Boston comes into this game off a 3-game series against their arch rival Yankees, and could be in for a little let down tonight. Toronto has been playing very good baseball winning seven of their last eight games. Toronto has been a very good team to play on away from home posting a 12-4 road record. The Red Sox have been bad bets against righties this season posting an 8-12 record. Lackey gets the start for Boston and he has a losing record pitching against the Jays with a 5-6 team start record. Morrow has looked good in his last two starts and presents excellent value here tonight. Play on Toronto.

Magic/Hawks UNDER 193

Before going for tonight’s card let me say how frustrated I was about the Suns/Spurs’ late game. With 2 minutes to go the score was 96-89 – 185 points and we had the Under 207 ready to cash just to watch both teams scoring 23 points in the final 2 minutes of the game. It was a really a quite of punch in my stomach but we have to move forward.

In this contest we are riding once again the Under as we have the same ingredients of game 3, sure that we are not dealing with 197 points anymore but still we have plenty of value with this line.

I’m starting to quote me:

“The game 2 ended with 210 points in an offensive explosive contest however according to my numbers that was an extremely slow paced game. The game 1 had a pace factor of 90.47 and game 2 had only 81.98 so you can see the difference. “

Well game 3 had a similar pace of the game 2 = 82.71 but the Hawks offense came back to earth and scored only 75 points. I’ve been saying since the start that the way the Hawks’ offense run their players are completely shut down by the way the Magic defend. The only way for the Hawks to put big numbers against Orlando is if they don’t bring their best effort to the court and being Stan Van Gundy the Magic head coach I just can’t see that happening.

Meanwhile Orlando was once again pretty effective on the offensive end and that was the only surprising factor for me! Yes, they were effective but the lack of effort of the Hawks on the defensive was astonishing! The Hawks ended the game without a SINGLE BLOCKED SHOT! For tonight I expect the Hawks to bring a bit more energy to the court and play better defense because on the offensive end the problems won’t be solved.

My projected line for this contest is 185/188 points and I’m taking the Under in here as my Double Dime Play.

Pick: 4 units (Double Dime Play) on Under 193

PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES -110

Philadelphia is 31-15 the past 3 years on the road when the money line is -100 to -125. Philadelphia is scoring 5.3 runs per game this year. Greg Smith is 1-2 with a 6.35 ERA overall this year, 1-1 with an 8.31 ERA at home this season and 0-1 with a 9.00 ERA his last 3 starts. Philadelphia is 12-3 overall vs. Colorado the past 3 years including 6-1 at Colorado the past 3 seasons. Smith is 0-1 with a 6.35 ERA overall vs Philadelphia since 1997. We'll play Philadelphia for 3 units tonight! Thanks and good luck, Rocky.

5***** Game
The Lakers are a victory away from sweeping the Utah Jazz and want to lock up a third straight trip to the Western Conference finals as soon as possible. Game 4 is Monday night in Utah, where the Lakers edged the Jazz 111-110 on Saturday for a 3-0 series lead.

The Lakers have knocked the Jazz out of the last two playoffs, starting in 2008 with a 4-2 win in the second round. Last year it was 4-1, so 4-0 and a possible long break before the Western finals is sounding pretty good.

Under is 12-5 in LAL last 17 games as an underdog

Under is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings.

Look for solid defensive game
