One of those close-shaves came against the only nationally-ranked opponent Boston College has faced this campaign as they took then #18-ranked Connecticut right down to the wire in a game that was decided by a TWO POINT margin. Foe those who have followed the 16-0 start of Syracuse they have tended to struggle against inferior competition including St. Francis College as that night the superstar tandem of C.J. Fair and Tyler Ennis suffered from a general lack of interest. Last time on the floor Syracuse in their first-ever clash versus North Carolina as a conference foe ended up winning an extremely low scoring 57-45 contest where the Orange had a season-low offensive performance hitting just 35% from the field. My research indicates that in the past three years following a very low scoring game where a combined “115 or less” combined points were scored, Syracuse has had major problems converting (3-11 ATS/ROAD) where it counts
