Here is the reason the charges were dropped on Ayres:

"During this time Ayers and fellow member Bernardine Dohrn married, and the two remained fugitives together, changing identities, jobs and locations.
In 1973, new information came to light about FBI operations targeted against Weather Underground and the New Left, all part of a series of covert and often illegal FBI projects called COINTEL.[SUP][20][/SUP] Due to the illegal tactics[SUP][clarification needed][/SUP] of FBI agents involved with the program, government attorneys requested all weapons- and bomb-related charges be dropped against the Weather Underground, including charges against Ayers.[SUP][21]"
(wiki)
[/SUP]

Thanks for proving that Ayres was never convicted of Terrorism. There was no need to connect the dots on this one, though. Pretty easy to find, and from legit sources, not ones that make up stuff to fit their pre conceived POV. Bowling^&%

Both parties are a sham, and only try to "stick it" to the other to score points with their base.

Both are wrong, but when something is wrong, the finger pointing begins.

In the fall, when BOTH parties wouldn't budge... the Liberals, most of the media, and the President pointed the fingers at the Republicans saying they wont budge, and they are causing the government shutdown.

The Republicans, and only a couple of media sources pointed the fingers at the Democrats saying they wont budge, and they are causing the government shutdown.

FACT: Democrats wouldn't budge, Republicans wouldn't budge: BOTH caused the government shut down! Finally the Republicans budged and got the government rolling again, giving the Democrats what they wanted without budging.

Like I said, both parties are a joke, they don't care about anyone but themselves. They pass bills and laws just to make people content, without really knowing the effect of those bills. The only bills they care about are the ones that effect THEM!

Why are the rich the only ones that hold political power? Yet they say the "Rich" are bad and evil. Why do the "Rich" in political power say "WE" need to help those who are in poverty? YET the income gap continues to increase between the rich and the poor/middle class?

Why do they continue to pass bills loaded with pork and kickbacks for those companies/people that contribute to their campaigns, giving them OUR tax dollars?

America is going downhill fast the past 20 years, and it will only get worse. Nothing will change because there are people who will blindly follow their party and vote for and support those with a (R) or (D) next to their name, no matter what they do, or how bad the country is failing.

This country doesn't have a smart enough base of people, who can think for themselves to do anything to change the political powerhouse that has taken over this country. Nothing will change unless the whole US goes back to 70+ years ago, when politicians actually cared about the people and the country, and did their job with that in mind... and not trying to score points with lobbyists, bankers, Wall-Streeters, and their blind followers... all the while doing whats best for themselves, and going in office rich, and coming out 100x richer then when they got into office.

Yep, we are doomed to fail, its just a matter of time till the clock hits ZERO... hopefully we can bounce back, and get this country back to where it was. Where people were happy to work and support themselves, politicians worked for the people that elected them, and NOT those who are putting money into their accounts/campaigns. Where Americans had too much pride to take a handout, and pulled themselves up, instead of asking someone else to do it for them. Where corporations cared for their employees like family, and not just number that can be replaced.

I can go on and on about how our political system is such a sham, and how Americans are buying into it and supporting it blindly. But, Im just blowing hot air, and nothing will change. Too many are blindly for the system we have simply because they support the (R) or the (D) and nothing else, and blindly support it like their local sports team, while thinking the other team is the worst and wont look at their own faults, and always pointing fingers.

sigh.... lets just hope it crashes soon, so we can start rebuilding it back the RIGHT WAY, and hopefully our mistakes will teach future generations so this never happens again.
