Usually the Media shows respect for a week or so before the real stories start! Ask the family how they benefitted financially from the S&L with Keating.....

Yes, I read yesterday they found out how powerful McCain's father was and he refused to be released until all the men were released too. That takes character.

HBO aired a very good documentary on him a few months ago. After yesterday’s unfortunate event, I can see them airing it again WAY sooner than later

Sorry about your dad, michael.

People just don't realize that government policy has real life consequences.

I'm sure McCain had the best of healthcare. And he didn't pay a dime.

Exactly...For those that think his no vote was in reply to the care he had already been given either recently or over the many years is laughable...He voted no just to spite Trump...He had the best healthcare available and to think he knew what normal people went through is laughable...He held a grudge...He was unable to beat Obama and Trump was able to beat according to Obama "The greatest candidate in the HISTORY of the USA...The guy lived for many years at the cost of taxpayers and probably leaves many millions of dollars to his heirs...He had no idea what regular vets and normal everyday people went through for healthcare..

He was for every military intervention under the sun and open borders. What more needs to be said?

Also, he likened MMA to human cockfighting if those first two things aren't enough for you.

RIP tho, maybe they'll have open borders in heaven

Yeah, I find this idea that there has to be some sort of national consensus that we laud him with feel-good platitudes grotesque.

I mean "show fealty to a life-long Senator" wasn't really James Madison's bag, baby.

Yep, didn’t give a rats ass about the people , just to despise Trump was his agenda. Term limits and make them work for us , the people , not their own agendas or who they may spite

"War hero" John McCain: The Republican John Kerry

That's nothing - his political career did untold damage to America.

Has anyone ever advocated for open borders in their farewell speech from the planet?

That's certainly brazen.

niltes, you gotta be well versed in open borders code words. You probably haven't read "Adios, America" by Ann Coulter so it makes sense that you missed it. Lemme help you out....

When he says "We weaken it when we hide behind walls, rather than tear them down...."

He ain't talking about China bro. He's saying "Fuck putting a wall on the southern border with a 3rd world country known for its cutthroat drug trade", he's just saying it eloquently.

Do you feel enlightened? I suppose that's a state of mind.

I think you are wrong in your interpretation of what he said. I believe he thought putting up a wall would make us look weak instead of showing our strength by using other means to prevent illegals from entering. I know your mind is made up but I believe you’re wrong and don’t think he meant he wanted open borders with that statement.
