Sorry Enfuego, McCain turned out to be an open borders globalist along the lines of Soros. I give him credit for his military service, although he got where he did only because of his last name. I give credit to anyone who served their country, although a little less if it's any service other than the Marines or Army. @)

I don't see how you guys claim the guy was for open borders?

That's my opinion too for the most part. Something like the proposed RAISE Act (and if there is anything horrible in this bill, nobody bother me about that. I didn't read all 500 pages or whatever it is)

I think saying "Mexico will pay for the wall" is stupid too. We're the richest country in the world and securing our border would cost .01% of the federal budget. We can pay for our own security.

Wall is more just a euphemism for strong borders. It's more of an abstraction than an actual physical wall along 3k miles. But I think there is plenty of evidence that says the aforementioned McCain does not agree with "strong borders"

He was no different than Zuckerberg who is all about "Build bridges, not walls", yet doesn't go anywhere without security that looks like the Dallas Cowboys offensive line.

Well yeah, pretty much agree with all.

Back in 2013, McCain and Sen. Chuck Schumer, with six other senators including Sens. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., Marco Rubio, R-Fla., Dick Durbin, D-Ill., Michael Benet, D-Colo., and Robert Menendez, D-N.J., worked together to craft a bill that would have granted amnesty to almost 12 million illegal immigrants, costing taxpayers trillions of dollars and surely encouraging more illegal immigration in the future. This MSM-applauded Gang of Eight bill died in a Republican-controlled Congress, yet it signalled McCain’s outright preference for open borders despite representing a border state in Arizona.

Last August, McCain wanted to bring the Gang of Eight bill back and provide a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants with his pal Senate Minority Leader Democrat Chuck Schumer. This is one of many examples of McCain trying to thwart President Trump’s America First agenda, bringing amnesty back in vogue. Why he ever thought this would get anywhere under the Trump administration is anyone’s guess. Trump’s promise to build a wall has been regularly dismissed by Senator McCain who said it would do nothing to stop illegal immigration. But granting amnesty to 12 million illegal immigrants who failed to play by the rules and broke federal law would stop illegal immigration?

Let’s face it, John McCain is a party-dividing RINO, especially when it comes to immigration. He thinks the GOP is on the “wrong side” of progress, as he writes in his new book, and attacks Iowa Congressman Steve King, a strong proponent of border security and Trump’s America First, Build the Wall agenda.

There are illegal immigrants that have been in the U.S. for years and years. Some have been here since they were infants. I am an advocate of granting those kinds of people amnesty.

That doesn't mean I'm an advocate for open borders. It's not an all or nothing kind of deal.

Nobody actually comes out and says "I'm for open borders", it's not an official policy position. Well maybe a few Democrats recently, but in general you say other stuff which means you are for open borders like "Build bridges, not walls" or push for amnesty coming before border security which would legalize upwards of 20-25 million people and cause a stampede at the border for more people to come in and try to get said amnesty.

Not to mention, future illegals would try to get here knowing that if they wait it out, amnesty for them will come eventually now that we've done it multiple times.

Any policy position that is granting massive blanket amnesty before border security pretty much amounts to being for open borders.

If you're willing to cheapen the privilege of citizenship that much, what else would you call it? It's being for open borders.

We can debate terminology all we want, but his lifetime NumbersUSA grade is a D for a reason. And given that he is from a state that has been massively disproportionately affected by open borders, I think you could call that D an F- pretty easily.

That's why Trump was able to get away with his absurd statement of "Not a war hero, he was captured", the statement was grotesque. But he got away with it because people really, really hate McCain. There's no other way a statement like that flies unless people can't stand the subject of the derision.

Have you ever tried it? I want to because it's supposed to be good and high in protein. Honestly, Google gave me the answer. It's the internet, who gives a fuck what anyone thinks about them? You're a white guy who hates his imaginary white privilege, who desperately wishes he was black. Does it matter to you that people think that? If it does, log off and seek immediate help.

Lol. You're right, it is the internet. Must be the reason why you can't sense my sarcasm.

Yes, I eat Quinoa. It was just a joke from the sacha baren cohen show that I posted.

Lol "of course I like McCain" but then calls me a leftist. Wasn't McCain a republican? You are a fool bro. You demonstrate that with every post you make. Fuck the both of those parties. Both are distant from reality and are not in the best interest of the public so I don't really give a shit about either of those parties. So many pathetic pieces of shit on both sides. Anybody who truly looks at it as "us vs them" is truly a fucking lame. I am laughing at both

Agree, no big deal. I have opinions, you have opinions, it's the way it should be. I don't always agree with you, but who cares. My opinion doesn't mean more than yours does.
