oil and gold flying

dollar tanking

AND markets tanking

hyperstagflation slowly becoming the word to describe things

my friend told me last night malaysia gonna be out of oil in 2011 as far as exports (i know a small fry on global scale but...) so maybe i understimate the possible reality of peak oil a bit

Both ford and gm diving off a cliff again today.

I stand by my statement that single family, owner occupied homes are depreciating assets.

Thats what kept economy from tanking since 2001 and now that house of cards is obviously falling apart.

We still dont have the liquidations we need to get a sharp bear market rolling as stocks like ko, pg, mo are still holding up today.

next monday might be a doozy if black friday shopping turns out to be a disaster

think with turkey day light trading (only got wed and i think half friday left this week) we stay afloat till next week

i would not want to be heavily long right now and holding into this coming weekend

not always but it helps and tends to give you a head start

seems like only thing that can keep the market afloat in number terms at this point is trashing the dollar

lot of people holding the mutual fund bag see the dow headlines and they don't even realize how much they are being fleeced, even though markets not falling to a great degree

as ron paul said in his recent rant to ben
