Obviously I'm a huge Musk fan but disrupting the auto market is a lot harder than other entrenched businesses.

I think Ford/Google, Nissan, GM and even Apple are going to be a lot of competition for Tesla. The industry would never be going in that direction if it wasn't for Tesla but they will be facing very stiff competition going forward. Not gonna get blindsided like Walmart did with Amazon or anything.

BTW when the Republicans were talking global warming, Kasich did give a shoutout to advances in battery technology, that was pretty cool.

Not even saying that the model 3 won't be a great product, but moreso that the stock is just very overvalued.

The brand is strong right now because it is synonymous with a high powered EV but when the others enter the space then I'm not sure what edge it really has.

And most of the evidence points to the other automakers being able to get in on making a better product.

After a big flush I'd probably take GM and Ford as buys over Tesla, depending on valuation.
