the okc move should work fine though. i think of it as a similar situation as the jazz in utah. those are some of the best fans in the league. the nba team is the only product in town, so people will go. especially since its a young team on the way up with a big name in durant.

Even though I feel for the true Seattle fans, this franchise couldn't be coming into a better situation. OKC and the state of Oklahoma are striving, and the support they will receive from Hornet season ticket holders and the rest of the masses will be unbelievable. The new owners, Bennett( married to a Gaylord), McClendon (CHK), Ward (SD), have extremely deep pockets. They are even reaching out to Tulsa to increase the fan base. The Ford Center or whatever they end up calling it will be rocking in November. Only time will tell how long the euphoria lasts. The state of professional sports is turning into a sad situation.
