a lot of people view this agruement the same as the arguement against abortion. is a disabled life worth less than a non-disabled life? what about an unborn child vs. a newborn?

I have no idea if that's the case or not. But your point is valid, and money due him upon her death is the only reason why a logical person would not just divorce her and let her parents take care of her, if he wanted out of the situation. He wants her dead, and there has to be a reason. Money is usually the reason.

He may actually feel as though this is what she would have wanted. How many people would say they want to stay on support if in her condition?

Myself, being couped up inside for any period of time would drive me insane, let alone be in a vegatative state.

I am sure any amouont of life insurance will not begin to cover the pain and suffering of his life and situation, let alone the medical costs and other cost he has incurred.

Not sure anyone with a conscience could divorce anyone in this situation.

The parents...was it stated that they will take over control and bills etc for her? Or were you just assuming this? It was my understanding that they want to keep her alive, but not sure of there feasibility of doing it finanncially.

yes i did consider that. but, it doesn't make sense. its not like he is there by her side reading to her and whatever. he is in a relationship with another woman. he has 2 children with this woman...he has moved on. yet, he hires an attorney and fights in a court so she will die. just doesn't add up.
