Just a reminder boys and girls of the free lunch set.

In this country your garanteed the right to free speech..But you are nor garanteed the right to be heard.

If David Duke were an actor and got the same response as Susan S. got would it be McCarthyism?

Its to fxckin bad for her...She might start waking up to the fact that freedom isn't free. there is a price to pay for freedom..Thats the way it works in an open market society thank god...She and the other idiot will have to take responsibility of their actions for a change...They might want to wake the fxck up and realize that this is real and it ain't the fxckin movies.

Agree Patriot,

The same goes for Latrine DaBuffalo, aka Janeane Garofalo. She's not even funny, how the hell did she become famous?

republicans have not been welcome in hollywood for along time.

I don't believe this, but I haven't looked into it. Even if there is some truth to it, I think you and other Conservatives exaggerate about it a great deal.

I do know that Tom Selleck has no problems making movies and working in television. I'm sure there are other working conservative actors who have no problem getting work.

As for TV shows, we have shows like JAG, 24 Hours, ETC, that showcase the U.S. Military and other U.S. Government organizations in a positive light.

These cries of foul from Conservatives are just a made up in my opinion. Kind of like the Boogey Man.

Anyway, if you want to see a funny movie about Liberals getting their due, rent The Last Supper. In the end, the Conservatives win.

The Last Supper

Believe me ,the people who really call the shots are producers and studio heads. As a rule Liberal they ain't.

out,

regarding what I said in my former post: There's a big difference between an actor/actress not being cast because they just aren't right for the role and because their "politics" don't "draw crowds".
That is tantamount to blacklisting.

RFC,
It's the money, do you think some producer is going to spend big bucks making a movie right now staring one of these useful idiots? They're guaranteed to lose money.

30 Posts into this thread a question has to be asked:

What was on the previous sunday on CBS?.

I mean, Ice Bound is a movie, not a series.

What are you comparing it to? I bet that Fox lost more than 40% of its viewers the week after the Super Bowl, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. I'm sure whatever they had planned the next week they didn't expect 60% of the Super Bowl audience to tune in.

Think people...

FSB,
CBS promoted that movie like crazy, believe it or not people turned the loud mouth off.

Maybe the movie just sucked.

Trust me when I say most people in this country are too apathetic to boycott anything.
Maybe they just didn't want her product in the first place.

Don't fool yourself into thinking that just because 75% of the country supports the war, that many of them are actually actively boycotting liberals and French products and so on.

Let me pose a hypothetical:

If Paul Tagliabue, the commissioner of the NFL, came out and made some Anti-Bush statements, do you think that would even place a dent in the NFL? I'm sure MANY MANY fans would disagree with him, and are Bush supporters. But I'm also damn sure they'd all still want to see their Football games each sunday.

My point is they only support your right-wing boycotts until it hurts them. And if they aren't depriving themselves of anything, then its not really a boycott.

Don't forget to boycott Basketball as well. Nash made some anti war statements. What a bunch of freaks. The typical American is too stupid to boycott. There have been several surveys done on Americans asking if they are boycotting French, German, Canadian items etc.
A little less than half said yes or they would substitute the product for another. Problem is when asked what products and brands are they boycotting. These typical Americans are naming products not from any of the countries they think they are boycotting. What a dim witted nation. The average American really has no clue.

The average American really has no clue.

I got to agree with that one, unfortunately judge, grantt is right on that one, stereotype or no stereotype the average american is a nitwit.
