There had to be blood everywhere. Roommate saw no blood? Did the killer lock the door to room after going Michael Myers? Who calls a friend saying roommate is unconscious. And doesn’t notice the butcher shop? How did they know unconscious or if even home

Being down stairs not upstairs is especially odd. Some thumps and bumps would be heard in the dead calm of night. Travel down makes more noise than up. Blood had to be from entry to exit and floors in between. If blood is leaking outside the foundation of the house and report is it was on walls and fucking ceiling of the rooms, then that killer had it on shoes pants etc. If he got in a car like they suspected now (personally I’d be heading through the woods back of the house not risking driving a damn car) the blood trail to car should be seen. Drops or of boots etc.

And roommates had to seen blood before (unconscious) call to a friend. WTF shady

They gotta play the game. The dumber and more confusing and less answers they have, the more likely the suspect lets his guard down. And fucks up. Jobs, house, friends family type place etc.

If they know or have a good idea, last thing you want is them on the run. And poking around asking friends or family of a suspect, they will tip them off and poof they gone. I’d imagine sitting back, guy probably is out of town laying low, and they are waiting to build more concrete evidence. As more than likely, they will return back to a so called safe place in need of something. And likely that’s when he gets caught.

Blending in though and staying put isn’t unusual either. Hell a guy who killed his neighbor went on live news talking about what happened before they caught him. He eventually slipped up something silly. Literally lived next door to girl he killed. Went on about his day like nothing

One time Miami Beach Police knocked on my door because I had cams that were visible - they asked me to play back 4 am 530 am - sure enough around 5 am the thieves were on the video - and arrested after I showed them the video
