mcnabb is at best a mediocre qb! and to all you libs out there -- i don't want to hear about dropped passes, and the fact that he's in the pro bowl -- he missed just as many wide open wr last week as there were drops today; he's simply not a leader, and the fact that he's in the pro bowl is further proof of the media creation -- this season his qb rating was like 79!!!

If you contain his ability to scramble he is an ordinary QB. The scrambling is what makes him a top QB, but the Panthers contained him today.

you are correct to a point my friend. he's good when he get's out of the pocket because he becomes a rb, not for his arm (sub-par), nor his decision making abilities (way too many mistakes).

and given your profession i'm sure you're not a big fan of mr. limbaugh

Hansen you are absolutely wrong just as Rush was. McNabb is this whole offense. Without McNabb the Eagles would be a mediocre team.

nyc76....so what did we see tonight? A mediocre team for NFC Championship with a star qb who just couldn't win at home? I'm confused on this one. I think Rush was right. Now, somebody make reference to race and we'll cover all the bases.

Yeah thats exactly what you saw. Again someone please show me ONE quality receiver that Mcnabb has had to throw to in this game or all year? Hell go back to 2000 and show me ONE quality receiver that McNabb has had to throw to? Can you? No because McNabb has been surrounded by the worst group of Wide Receivers in the entire league.

This loss was all on the Eagles receivers dropping balls and Im sorry Hansen yes when you drop first downs and drop passes that become interceptions that makes a huge difference.

put the bong down!!!

without the eagle def this team is very mediocre!!

mc nabb's qb rating going inot todays game was a PATHETIC 79!!! and after today's championship effort it'll be in the 60's!!!! perhaps, you do not understand qb ratings, but it ranks the qb's efficiencies in several off categories.
mcnabb has close to as many ints as he does td's!! and his longest throw was only 59 yds!! he can't throw down field!
at best mediocre!

i think these past two weeks performances proved myself and rush right!

Eagles defense? Oh you mean the Eagles defense that gives up 180 yards a game rushing the ball? you mean that Eagles defense?

Sorry hansen you need to drop the bong because you obviously dont know football.

Then you talk about these last two weeks performances? Dude did you see last weeks game? If it wasnt for McNabb they lose that game. And you obviously didnt watch this game today because if he had decent receivers he probably wouldve won here.

Dude you have absolutel no clue what youre talking about so get your nose out of Rushs butthole and learn some football.

perhaps, today the wr's were getting him back for missing them all day long against g bay!!! and only one pass was deflected for an int how about his first two picks -- talk about telepathing a pass to a COVERED wr

Yeah how about those first two picks. Maybe if you look at the replays you can see the awful routes the wideouts ran.

Dude you have absolutely no clue what youre talking about. Again you OBVIOULSY did not see last weeks game cuz McNabb willed that team to the win.

Yeah you know Mannings Qb rating was in the 30's today that must mean he sucks

thanks ig!!

nyc,

you are either very naive, don't know much about football, are just flat out stupid, or all of the above???

then you bring up a ignorant argument that a perfect score is 158???????? so????? what's that have to do with anything????? other than mcnabb is only half way there!
then you exacerbate you futility, by trying to use mannings one day performance to what mcnabb has done all year???? you really need help sir. perhaps, you would best serve yourself by just being quiet -- at least you wouldn't embarrass yourself.

I have heard enough of these mcnabb apologists. The fact is a great QB makes his recievers better. Look at favre. How many first round picks is he surrounded by at WR? zero. He has a bunch of scrubs that he turns into very good WR's. Even wayne, pollard and stokley look like heros with manning. ANd take a look at brady, he has branch, johnson, brown and givens. Were any of these guys 1st round picks? nope.

I think its time we realize that mcnabb is average at best.

Dude you contradict yourself. First you say the Qb rating is the end all to everything then I show you Mannings and say well that doesnt count. Again just another example of how clueless you are on this issue.

Here you go Hansen lets see how smart you are...

Try to pick, without looking up the answer, which pair of stats belong to Donovan McNabb after 3 years starting in the NFL. There are 4 groups. One belongs to McNabb. The others belong to John Elway, Fran Tarkenton and Joe Montana. It is also only including passing yards and passing TD's. McNabb's strength isn't even included in the calucation.

Group 1:
Total Yards: 7,973
Total TD's: 51

Group 2:
Total Yards: 6,903
Total TD's: 55

Group 3:
Total Yards:7,546
Total TD's: 54

Group 4:
Total Yards: 8,152
Total TD's: 47
