I can tell you firsthand that we had lengthy discussions amoungst all the BR members before deciding to take down the ROYAL banners.............and NONE of us knew ANYTHING about any advertising dollars.
It really disgusts me when there are so many hard working people here that have nothing but good intentions for the players and some people want to make up their bullshit and ruin it for 99% of the good people on this site.

Everyone should get over the Royal owes the Rx. money for advertising thing. The real truth is Royal was taken down exclusively because of a number of slow pay complaints. Regardless of any insuations made in this thread, the simple truth is posters had problems collecting their money, and that was the only reason Royal was taken down when they were. I am not just talking about deposit money, but large amounts that players were owed from playing at Royal. After repeated efforts to get players paid it became apparent that we could not recommend the book anymore. General continues to help anyone who asks for help getting paid at Royal.

Drunkguy - All that is fine, I am glad when any players get paid. The point is that anyone trying to make an insinuation that Royal was removed for some other reason than their slow pay problems is flat wrong. That is very simply not the case, and has never even been mentioned anywhere before tonight. When thread after thread is posted by different Royal customers stating slow pay problems, at some point it becomes impossible to recommend such a book. That is what happened, there never was any discussion about non-payment of advertising money being an issue. Just do a search for Royal threads from earlier this spring, and you will see a number of problems posts, those posts of slow pay and only those posts are why Royal no longer advertises here.
