Sure it was disrespectful when she did that, but Rosanne wasn't a full time employee of the NFL unlike these athletes......if ABC can fire Rosanne for her comments as they are her boss, then the NFL can put in any rule it wants for its workers/athletes.

Protest on your own time, not the companies time.

A perfect example of what I am talking about. Sure thing. So if the NFL players went out and urinated on the flag after the game and it was covered by the press, the first thing people would think was "oh, that's OK because it's on their time". Somehow, I'm thinking that wouldn't be the response. But hey, as long as it's for the team!

I should also add that it's amusing how some of the same posters who are ranting about the kneeling in the NFL during the national anthem, have never mentioned Roseanne's disrespect of the National Anthem (complete with crotch grab). Funny how that works.

I thought this was classless, but I didn't call for the cancellation of her show, or the end of it's syndication, or some sort of boycott and I certainly didn't suggest or condone physical violence against her.

Everything I mentioned is something the left has done and continues to do.

We're NOT the same, and suggesting both sides behave in a similar fashion is categorically incorrect my friend. There are huuuuuuuge differences, real conservatives and left wing liberals are just built differently.

It's cool to celebrate and spew hate speech if you are on the left. Shit they have multiple shows that do it all day long. The epitome of hypocrisy.

First off Willie, you never said you were going to stop watching the NFL, so this isn't about you.

But the fact of the matter is, both sides took care of business in their own way. Roseanne has been canceled and the biggest instigator of the NFL kneeling BS will never see a snap again. And as stated, my analogy is more about how suddenly these people that are screaming about the disrespect of the NFL players toward our nation have no problem with Roseanne. And let's not kid ourselves. They are not really concerned about where their little protest took place (despite the nonsense bandied by Computer Group). It is about respect. They're being hypocritical by not taking the same stance in each situation.

Suddenly this POS Roseanne is their new hero. Hilarious.

Bill Maher made a joke about Ivanka giving daddy hand jobs

Nobody called for a boycott, no shows were cancelled, he didn't even have to apologize because libtard nation loves that stuff

I'd have a sarcastic smirk, laugh at the asshole for telling such a bad joke and change the channel

can you imagine how such a joke would be received if it was about Obama or Clinton?

HaHa...Stupid motherfuckers don't realize what hit them...Not to mention the new kids parents that thought they hit the jackpot...Only to have to start all over again, not to mention Goodman, both Becky's,pussy hat wearing Jackie, and bull dyke view host Darlene...Your meal ticket has left the building...

Update: 11:30 p.m. EDT, May 29, 2018: Roseanne Barr issued another apology via Twitter late Tuesday night after ABC cancelled her rebooted show earlier in the day following a Twitter rant and racist tweets.
“Don't feel sorry for me, guys!” Barr said in a short tweet just before 11:30 p.m.
“I just want to apologize to the hundreds of people, and wonderful writers (all liberal) and talented actors who lost their jobs on my show due to my stupid tweet,” she said.

Just one mistake on your "bull dyke" view host Darlene, she's on the Talk which I never saw, but don't think it can be as bad as "The View"

Not the same thing. Players could protest on their OWN time! There at work, under contract to arrive at work I think two hours before kickoff? YOU do not have free speech during work. Can a cashier politely tell an asshole of a customer how they feel, NO! Can a business person go to work in a swimming suit NO! You're at work, there are rules to follow, not just in speech, but when you eat when you leave etc etc.... Plus Kaepernick was costing them money, Rosanne was making money for the network. You fail to mention Joy Reid still on air after spewing hate towards homosexuals, Or Joy Behar and her numerous apologies.

Nonsense, aye......you don't understand the difference. Theres a hypocritical double standard by the media, etc......if you can't see that, go stick your head in the ground like most liberal retards do.

Good explanation, but some people are so blinded, they will never get it.

The fact that they are taking the reruns off the air is just surreal. They have to pretend she doesn't exist.
Also, they had already agreed to have a season 2.

That is what is bothering me the most. Many people who worked on the show and relying on syndication $$ are getting screwed.

I'm sure an annoucement will be made in the next few weeks about reruns being shown again, or the show going to hulu or netflix or something like that.

Hulu also pulled the show from its streaming service Tuesday, a source told the Daily News.

Always fun to see people try and justify hypocritical behavior. And if you don't think her comments were going to cost ABC money, then you truly are naive. Carry on.
