A fun bet for action on the corners market for the Spurs vs. United game.

Spurs vs. Man Utd - Exactly 11 Corners @ 8.5
Stan James - 0.5units

May cover it with an over 11 corners bet at evens. That depends on the starting lineups.

Adding:

Spurs vs. Man Utd - OVER 11 CORNERS @ 2.00
Stan James - 1unit

Covers the earlier bet on total corners.

Good to see you back wuntun.
I actually lost but for about a minute after reading this post I was :dancefool:dancefool:dancefool. There were 12 corners in the game. :ohno::ohno::ohno: The 12th came in the 94th minute!!! But, I covered the bet and still got a profit out of it.

Skysports.com are the only site to show 11 corners. But, I'd counted during the match and other sites I visited confirmed it.

you can check on sky sports, look up the score centre tab and its all there 20-30mins before the game, theres quicker sites, but they are all separate from team to team, here its more centralised.

I'm good bro. Had a great weekend bettingwise, eeked out a profit on the footie, and had some prop bets come in last night for the Super Bowl.

Fulham game was absolute shite for the first half, but they destroyed Newcastle in the second. Then they turned on the style and started playing like Barcelona.

Hope you had a good weekend.

By the way, what's your favourite sport, and which sports do you like to gamble on most. I'm guessing hockey would be one, considering you're in Canada.

Hey shukatiti. Like wuntun said, good source for team news about 30mins before kick off is Sky Sports:
http://home.skysports.com/football/ - Very good as they can also show lineups for European games aswell, but only a few minutes before the game.

I also check
http://www.bbc.co.uk/football

Occasionally, if I'm looking for team line-ups for European football, I'll check a couple of other forums
http://www.punterslounge.com/forum
http://forum.bettingadvice.com

There are one or two decent cappers on those forums, but on the whole like most places, more losers than winners. Sounds crazy, but if I notice a huge consensus pick on those forums, generally I will steer clear of that game or use it as an angle to fade their picks.

Ok... so it was a bit tongue-in-cheek. But, 2nd half performance had us Fulham supporters raving. One of their best performances.

THEY'RE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WINNERS IN THE MAKING!! **

Hey rhino, do you have any thoughts on the Mexico/US match Wednesday night?

Sorry mate, I've got no thoughts in the game. I live in the UK so my knowledge of those two national teams is limited. I also don't like betting on international friendly games. I'd be careful wagering on these types of games.

I hear ya, just wanted to make watching it a little more spicy. How about Charlton v. Man U.? That's another one I plan on catching.

Man Utd are top of the league, and Charlton are near the bottom. The moneyline on Man U will be peanuts. Normal odds will be on the spread, and that's at Man Utd-2. The result that people will be looking at is a huge Man Utd victory. They generally always batter Charlton both at home and away. Charlton have been performing very well recently. They're fighting hard, but this will probably be too much for them to get anything from. I usually don't like to play favourites covering that much of a spread. Man Utd are more likely than any other team to do it, though.

The only thing I'd be hesitant about is team news. Man Utd might look to field a weakened team as its against a lower-calibre team, and because they are going to have a hectic schedule of fixtures coming up.

Wait for matchday, and check the team news about an hour before kick off.

You can check it at http://www.bbc.co.uk/football

If you're just looking for some action like you said, then Man Utd -2 is probably the way to go. Depending on team news there MIGHT be some value in picking Charlton+2.

Good luck with whatever you do bro.
