I've got alot of leans at the moment on EPL and Championship.
Looking at the following:

Liverpool-1 over Everton - Liverpool have been in unbelievable form at home. They've only conceded three goals at home. I believe they'll avenge their earlier loss this season against Everton. The worries I have are that Everton are no pushovers. They're a solid team with a tough midfield. More worryingly, I notice alot of people on Liverpool, particularly on a few forums. Whenever these forums have an overwhelming majority on one pick, I'm sceptical and tend to fade. Sounds silly, but it often works because everyone gets on something believing its too good to be true.

Sheffield United+0.5 @ Blackburn.
Portsmouth PK @ Wigan
Villa-0.5 vs. West Ham
Watford+0.25 vs. Bolton
Charlton +1.25 at home to Chelsea.
Arsenal-0.5 @ Boro.

I don't regard any of these as strong with the exception of Portsmouth PK at Wigan. The teams I've got leans on are generally struggling. I don't think it's a good card, but will wait for more team news etc. I feel I'll have a much stronger card in the Championship.

You got any plays for EPL tomorrow?

Thanks Joey... Charlton were unbelieavably lucky... I might be getting carried away as I'm thinking of taking Charlton +1.25 against Chelsea!!!!!

Adding:
Catania vs. Palermo - OVER 2.5 @ 2.09
Pinnacle - 2.5units (1-2) WON+ 2.72

Catania PK vs. Palermo @ 2.15
Bet365 - 2.5units (1-2) LOST-2.5

+0.22

2007 YTD: 26-25-4 (-0.45)

I've got a lean on Nurnberg+0.5 at home to Bayern. But anything can happen in that game so steering clear.

I'm pretty scared with the Villa pick at the moment. They've only won one game in 13. But, they've got the new signings in Carew and Young that are going to be a really good for them. They've had two players missing which I think have cost them so far this season. Luke Moore, a young forward, and Laursen, who I believe is their best centre back. When both were in the team they were strong defensively, and were playing fluid attacking football.

West Ham have been awful and have no confidence. They look crap. But, maybe they feel more pressure at home as the fans have been pissed off with them. Now, they've just bought Matthew Upson to solve their defensive problems.

Two teams in bad form, low on confidence, is often a coin toss. Having said all that, my instinct keeps telling me to take Villa, even though its a dangerous game to bet on.

That Charlton-Chelsea pick is just crazy. But, I've seen enough football to know anything can happen. It's just a lean.

Charlton have got two great results away from home. That's despite having their best striker injured. They're back at home. They have some more confidence from their form aswell as the fact that West Ham and Wigan are doing very poorly.

People may make a lot of Chelsea's victory over Blackburn, and the return of John Terry. These could be huge in giving the team more confidence and stability as logic would dictate, or it could be another false dawn. Chelsea are still poor but effective. Terry might not be in the greatest condition, Shevchenko still isn't scoring in the Premiership, Ballack is still poor etc. They beat Charlton by only one goal at home.

Taking Charlton+1.25 means if Chelsea, lose, draw or win by one goal, I make some sort of profit. That seems valuable. But that's just my instinct and preference for dogs when betting.

That's just one angle; I wouldn't be surprised to see Chelsea win 4-0 or for them to stutter again with a draw or grind out a one-goal victory.

I've got no strong lean either way.

Thanks for the props Brett. Just a heads up though; not the wisest thing to tail me much as my record in footie has been bad. I was awful last year, and started poorly this year.

I've wrote down every decent lean I've had in the past two months. I hit a point where all my leans seemed to be doing so well, but when I narrowed down to two or three games a week, they'd lose. The games I played were alot of road faves. In all other sports I gamble on, I focus primarily on dogs. For example, tennis, NFL, and through some golf tips I get I go with alot of dogs that have given me good profit. Anyways, had I gone with all the leans, I'd have made alot more money on soccer. Last week, I played nearly every lean I had. The one I forgot to play was Villarreal +0.5 over Madrid which ended up winning.

Ive had Cardiff-0.75 and Nurnberg+0.5 written down on my excel spreadsheet with all my picks but didn't play both. Both teams are winning 2-0. So, out of frustration Ive started playing more and more. But, this has to even out at some point. Playing this many games is not the best strategy or example of money-management. I don't have any major dogs to cover the losses, and one bad day would be awful.

It probably is just a bad assumption considering you've got your own picks and leans. I just feel I have to say this to absolve me of any guilt I'd feel thinking you or anyone was tailing.

Dont worry rhinoo we have to turn around this shit in any time, just bad luck. Continue doing what youre doing, that what is all about this forum, to help every player with some valuable info, so at any point we all are going to win and just keep up the good work.

Not just you is on a bad streak or a loosing record, just look at me, i have lost more than i have won, but i will focus more on what i think i do the best, that is in southamerica and argentina soccer who starts on february 10th, lets turn this shit around.

Again, GL and keep it up bro!!!!

Just back from watching Fulham manhandle Newcastle. Scoreline should have been alot higher, and that referee was a piece of shit. Should have sent off two Newcastle players, and given a penalty.

Adding:
Nancy vs Toulouse+0.5 @ 1.94
Betfair - 2.5units

Sochaux vs. Rennes+0.5 @ 1.76
Betfair - 2.5units

St Etienne-1 vs. Sedan @ 2.16
Betfair - 2.5units

Espanyol vs. Zaragoza PK @ 1.96
Betfair - 2.5units

Have a slight lean on Mallorca+0.5 at Deportivo. But not confident enough.
