Yet, the universe, the world, the beauty, the intricate lives all around us, was all created by accident. A bunch of gases and crap formed to make a big boom, and we evolved into what we are today.
Talk about gullible.

If this universe can start from something from a grain of sand, i would think anything is possible. Anything possible that requires alot of time and some scientific domino effect. However, people being made from ribs and dirt and woman getting pregnant without actually getting laid and people making 888 fish from two loaves of bread is pure fantasy. Now if you believe the earth is 600 years old, then evolution isn’t possible, i agree. But if you are like most rational people and agree the Earth is more like 4 billion years old, then evolution is possible. I actually (begrudgingly) hate to admit that i agree with Someday, as a seeding be an alien race is certainly more plausible then creationism from nothing.

While everyone slams creation, please explain how everything was created by accident? Out of what?

Right.

Take a course in historical geology. It is very interesting.

If you dont have time for that just try to picture millions and millions of years and what you have seen in natural forces effect on our earth in thirty or fifty years

was all created by accident .

a very succesful cliche sentence designed to 'woo' us as to what the current ideas are. biggest lie succesfully shoved down the throat of gullible, naive and lazy minds 'the scientists say it was all an accident, that's it, they are crazy'

so 'show me what you all nutjobs do all day long in universities all over the World' they say

'ok so how many years do you have?, know anything about math/geology/physics/biology?'

nope, its start from ground zero all the time

Talk about gullible
no $hit, you have to be...... to buy the 'they say its all an accident' line and therefore 'our explanation is just as valid as theirs'

of course not because even the gullible ones know that carbon dating is useful only up to 60000 years .........

I know you're old buddy, but that old?

When a monkey turns into a human, and it's documented, in any lifetime, let me know. Apparently that stopped at some point in the BILLIONS of years of history.

Well, IMO, it's more logical than, "son, you know the big firecracker sound you heard on the 4th? Well, there was a giant one of those, and all the gases and matter that was around formed to make the earth and life!"

Daddy, where did those gases come from?
"Uh....."
Daddy, if we evolved, why don't we see other animals evolving today?
"Uh...."

So just making up a fairy tale is more "logical" than admitting you just don't know the answer?

Have at it, I guess. While I guess none of us REALLY know, I'll take my beliefs and err on the side of caution, if you catch my drift...

Are you suggesting that you might suffer in some manner if you make a mistake on the question of how the universe originated?

There's a sick irony in people using an invention brought about by science to talk about how wrong science is.

I'm not making up anything, it's called faith. While I wasn't around to know the answer ABSOLUTELY, it's what I believe, and it's my faith. Again, if I'm wrong, I'm no worse off when I die. Everyone else, on the other hand, isn't. (if I'm right)
I'll take my chances with my "fairy tale."

The truth is most people are religious because they are born into it. Their parents take them to church as a kid so they are taught to believe. Very few christians became so later on in life.

it goes like this

Little Kid, don't pay attention to clueless daddy, go and ask questions to those guys that do nothing but study that stuff all day long (you know, those anthropologists/biologists/zoologists/paleontologists etc etc etc)

ask them 'is it true that evolution stopped as my clueless daddy says'

How is everyone else who doesn't believe the literal tale of Genesis "worse off" when they die?

Do you also tell your kids there's a boogeyman in the closet who will eat them if they misbehave - so that you can keep them in check when you're not in the room?

When was the last time an Atheist hung some fucker from a tree for not not believing? Yet you religious nutters are always out ganking people and killing in the name of your "beliefs" and your "faith." It seems a bit disingenuous for you to say that if you're wrong you're no worse off when you die considering the countless millions who have been persecuted by the fanatical adherents of your particualr brand of superstition.

There's no middle ground here. If you believe in God, Creation, and Jesus, you don't think the earth was formed by mistake. I'm not a Bible thumper, don't get me wrong. I'm posting in a damn gambling forum, give me a break! I'm a struggling Christian, no more. However, yes, if what I believe is correct, then I'll be in heaven, and others who don't will suffer. If you believe what I do, there's no rosy ending for everyone, sorry.
I'm one of the few that will openly say, "hey, I could be wrong!" No doubt, I could be... but, it's faith that makes me think I'm right. If I'm wrong, well, so be it, but I doubt I'm any worse off than those who don't. Worst case, maybe I'll be reincarnated as a stripper pole instead of a enema.

may be you will be 'no worse off'

may be you will die sooner because your fairy tales told some people that evolution 'stopped' and all research into viruses 'stopped'

or because the beings of your fairy tales told you to go and kill people that believed in a different 'flavor' of the fairy tales (or you were killed by that people that heard a voice from the sky and told them to go and kill the ones that were 'wrong' and believed in a different fairy)

to use your own way of thinking, when any of the thousands of gods (created by human minds) stop by at my doorstep to ask me why I am not a member of their fan club........let me know

REGARDLESS.....this misconception that the knowledge accumulated thus far can be simplified to 'it was an accident' IS gullible
