If this universe can start from something from a grain of sand, i would think anything is possible. Anything possible that requires alot of time and some scientific domino effect. However, people being made from ribs and dirt and woman getting pregnant without actually getting laid and people making 888 fish from two loaves of bread is pure fantasy. Now if you believe the earth is 600 years old, then evolution isn’t possible, i agree. But if you are like most rational people and agree the Earth is more like 4 billion years old, then evolution is possible. I actually (begrudgingly) hate to admit that i agree with Someday, as a seeding be an alien race is certainly more plausible then creationism from nothing.

There's no middle ground here. If you believe in God, Creation, and Jesus, you don't think the earth was formed by mistake. I'm not a Bible thumper, don't get me wrong. I'm posting in a damn gambling forum, give me a break! I'm a struggling Christian, no more. However, yes, if what I believe is correct, then I'll be in heaven, and others who don't will suffer. I'm one of the few that will openly say, "hey, I could be wrong!" No doubt, I could be... but, it's faith that makes me think I'm right. If I'm wrong, well, so be it, but I doubt I'm any worse off than those who don't. Worst case, maybe I'll be reincarnated as a stripper pole instead of a enema.

may be you will die sooner because your fairy tales told some people that evolution 'stopped' and all research into viruses 'stopped'
