You are entitled to free speech and we value your opinion but if we don't like your opinion, we'll threaten you, flood your facebook page with threats and call you non-stop until you can't even open your restaurant. Until you agree with us, we'll ruin your life.

Sounds about right huh Zit?

Exactly, and they have no problem with violence and robbery if it suits their cause. Here's a guy recruiting people to rob a pizzeria.

Republicans don't hate gays, they only pass laws that say they hate gays. It looks like the implementation of "straight only" restaurants and hotels is on hold in the Hoosier state. I bet Republicans miss the good old days when passing a gay bashing law would be a net positive for them politically. Looks like the Chamber of Commerce isn't too fond of this idea either and wants the law repealed, but the Bible thumpers believe it is their God-given right to discriminate against gays. And so the story goes on and on and on...

There's is so much bullshit in this post, I don't know where to start. No one is pushing for "straight only" restaurants and hotels. And, this law isn't about discrimination, and neither are
the 19 state laws which are similar that are already on the books. But, I know that doesn't fit into the narrative the militant gay lobby wants to push out there.

1-2% of the population are gay, but we have to have this shit in the news every fucking day. Every day it's fucking gay bullshit. gay gay gay gay.

People are sick of it. They can fuck each other in the ass all they want, all day long - but stop shoving it in everyone's face.

The Republicans were for gay bashing before they were against it...

Don't let facts get in the way of your bullshit.

Laycock, Conkle and 14 other law professors wrote a letter to the Indiana Senate Judiciary Committee last month to provide input on the Indiana law.
The law professors and legislators who represent the Greensburg area said the Indiana law mirrors federal legislation signed into law by Bill Clinton after it was passed unanimously in the U.S. House of Representatives and with a vote of 97-3 in the U.S. Senate.

In 2012, Chosen 300 Ministries, a religious organization in Philadelphia, used RFRA to sue the city of Philadelphia, which had adopted an ordinance that barred the distribution of free food in public parks. Chosen 300 argued that the ordinance placed an undue burden on its exercise of religion, which included feeding the homeless. William H. Yohn Jr., judge in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, agreed, writing in his ruling that the city’s “limitations on the free exercise of religion by (Chosen 300) inflict irreparable injury.”

There's a reason the Republicans are going full victim now, claiming the vicious attacks on their sweet little hate-law are the problem, not the fact that the law legalizes discrimination. Nice try, but this is 2015 and the elections are coming. So it wasn't a very smart move. The big difference here is Indiana took the federal law, used it as a tool for bigotry and sure as hell wasn't coy about it, as the sponsors admitted to the gay marriage angle. Zit, you made your point, and how it would play out in use is the question. But the public wasn't going to wait to find out how it works. It was all pretty fucking cynical the way they went about it. How people can defend these asshats is pretty sad. Especially in 2015. Bigotry wrapped in religion is nothing new. But it never fails to surprise me when it rears it's ugly head.

The real bigots are the one's threatening the Christians, and won't give the Christians the freedom of religion.

“We are a Christian establishment,” pizza shop owner told the media.

The pizza place has raised 140k?

Saying you won't serve gay weddings seems like a pretty good retirement plan.

Being the first to announce seems like a good move too because I doubt every pizza joint with that stance is getting 140k+.

They didn't make an announcement, they have never even catered a wedding before, who the fuck has pizza catered at a wedding anyway?

What happened is someone from the gay nazi mafia sought them out, and posed a theoretical question to them in order to entrap them.

How did the person know their answer before asking? They just go asking asking a bunch of places or something? Reason I figured they must've made the announcement was because who would just ask that to a small local pizza place out of nowhere, especially for something as unique and random as a wedding.

If they didn't announce it then that is a nice comeup by accident. They're gonna raise FU money.

Mark my words, the next target for the gay nazis are churches. The first step is that they will demand that all churches will have to perform fag weddings, and if they don't they will get their tax exempt status taken away. Once that is done, they are just another ordinary business subject to all sorts of laws, including ones prohibiting "discrimination" against fags. The church will then be fined into bankruptcy.

Yeah it is a big joke. If people don't wanna serve them pizza then move on.

Gays get thrown off buildings in Syria. Not being able to get pizza from this place, who gives a fuck.

How did this place get "targeted" though? Did whoever ask know what the answer was going to be?

I just hit refresh and they've raised like 6k in the last 20 minutes. This place is set.

They explicitly said they *would* serve gays. The gay nazis keep lying about that. They just said they wouldn't cater a fag wedding.

A reporter was randomly asking employees at businesses if they would cater a gay wedding. The girl working the register at Memories Pizza is the owner's daughter and told the reporter if the business was hypothetically asked to cater a gay wedding, would they do it. She said "no" my family doesn't believe in gay weddings. It's the way we were raised.

That's it.

What I hate are homosexuals just going into businesses to see if they'll be catered to with no intention of actually hiring the company. Then, when the owner says "no" they run to the press and file a lawsuit.

It's like they have nothing else to do with their lives each day.

This thread just keeps getting dumber and dumber. Some people just don't get it. This isn't just about pizza and cake. What about EMS workers, doctors etc? There are other service providers out there besides bakers...
