Thanks for all the kind words guys. It's nice to know that alot of same posters I respect so much feel so highly of me. This has been a constant struggle on what to do since Sunday when I e-mailed Fezzik. I was dead set on going but I just need some more information right now.

I am one of the biggest Fezzik fans there is. If any of you guys don't try to learn from him you are only hurting yourself. He is an inspiration to someone like myself. He is always trying to share with others and really asks nothing in return. With what little knowledge I have acquired I have did the same thing with attempting to share it, like some here have said. He tries to erase the negative stigma that goes along with gamblers in the public and someone I have tried to mold my gambling sytle after. Just getting a chance to meet him is worth flying all the way out to Vegas for me.

Here is the problem I have. I don't want to get there and have Fezzik feel any pressure to pick me because I flew out there for this. I don't want to put the pressure on myself to have an hour or so to try to impress him. I don't want to take 2-3 days and $1,500 out of my pocket and be sent back home. If I lived in Vegas I would be estatic to be just at the dinner tonite and be involved in the competetion.

Then what happens if he does pick me? What are the chance of this succeeding without me living there. The last thing I want to do is have the burden of this project on my shoulders knowing full well I have alot of lose ends to tie up at home. I 1000% trust Fezzik and am honestly willing to fly across the U.S. to learn from him. This is a dream that I have had my whole life, to be involved with a top professional who mentors me in some form of advantage gambling. After I learned this past year to win at sports betting, I feel even stronger that I can do this for living and with having a guy like Fezzik on my side that chances of succeeding at this increase dramatically.

Fezziks theory is that the lower limit poker games are very bad in Vegas, so if you put the time and energy into them you will win. The problem is if I was him and having had 2 guys already fail at this, than the safer choice is an in town "Vegas" guy. The guy he picks has to succeed RIGHT NOW for this and I am not the best choice living where I do currently.

My offer is still there. I will fly out tomorrow if he has plan in place that I could do this at home or on the internet for a while and see this start to work than eventually we could discuss the future. He owes me nothing and has been totally cool about this whole thing. I have laid everything out there for him on a few private messages and with my background check on the RX. I know in my heart I would put more of an effort to win at this than anyone. I just have too much to lose TODAY and so does he. The last thing I want to do is let the project and him down.

He has talked about using an out of towner which may fit my current situation best. I would be willing to go out to Vegas to train as early as tommorow if he wanted me for that role. I am also willing to front all the money for this on my end and to share the profits from having the oppurtunity to learn from him. I want to see this project succeed more than anyone and whoever he chooses I will be following closely. I will not be in attendence tonite at the dinner but am completley open to any suggestions if he felt there was a use for me. He has my phone number and I am sure if he called me he would feel even stronger about me as a choice. Hopefully after looking deeper into me as a prospect he feels the same way.

Still would be an oppurtunity of a lifetime for someone like myself but the last thing I want to do is waste anyones time. What I am hoping is that he finds his guy tonite (an in town guy) and also thinks he can make this happen with an out of towner and that I would be his #1 choice for that. Hopefully him and I could put together a plan that we could make this work as I have the time, energy, passion and motiavtion to make this successfull.

ICEMAN upgrade?

Ice may well be overqualified for the position I'm considering.

I have thought about this, and I may well look to partner with him on the development side of the theory, fine tuning playing strategies, and basic strategies, and we may well go forward consulting back and forth.

As far as the future, it is (hopefully) far out there. Good people will always be in demand. I can see Iceman is a great asset out there for all.

Many thanks to all the posters.......

i can tell you this, Ice and Fezz both have good intentions. That being said, it will end in disaster. i wish luck to both of them, knowing it is futile.

If Iceman is competent and follows Fez' rules perfectly, it's an easy 100K per year was what I read.

Illni lacked disapline and control. I witnessed that first hand.

Mr "I lose 80K in one weekend on football" criticizing me for not having discipline, after he witnessed me losing $100 while playing craps drunk. That's funny.

I have no discipline when I play craps. None. I play it for the game that it's meant to be.....an adrenaline rush. That's why I play it 1-2 times a year in Vegas.

As far as poker, I never went on tilt, but I didn't have the desire to play 10 hours everyday. I probably could if a judge sentenced me to do it and made it mandatory. That's about the only way.

With your number of post's, it completly amazes me that your ignorance of his dedication and complete discipline to beating the sports betting industry is far above 99% of the members here in this forum. I have witnessed 8 straight winning month's from ice, and NEVER has he bregged or patted himself on the back about it. If anything he has gone way out of his way to help people on how to win at this game. His dedication to winning and sharing knowledge is barnone compared to other poster's on here who are mainly negative in their opinions. He treat's all of his business adventures with complete professionalism. Fezzik could have not found a better canidate for this position. You might want to start paying attention to those that not only know how to win, but more importantly, are willing to share it with you. Best of luck.

For one, I am not ignorant on the fact he is dedicated. I have told him many times on here that that is a good thing, inluding in my post you replied to. He has patted himself on the back many times also by the way, although possibly not intentionally, although I have no problem with that.

You are correct, his dedication to winning is awesome, and you calling me out for thinking otherwise, gives me some indication as to your level of knowledge about me and in general. As for his sharing knowledge, if pinny has something at -120 and you can get it at -110 at another book. That isn't exactly rocket science and I also grab those when I notice them, anyone should, just not worth it for me to grind all day doing it, as I don't need to. As for hadicapping, he brings nothing to the table. He is simply using other people's knowledge that moves the line to his advantage, which if you are limited in your own knowledge is the only way to go. I like Ice. He brings a lot to the forum in forms of interesting threads and the like.

And as for your last part of paying attention to those that know how to win. I don't think there is a better sports gambler than me anywhere so I will keep paying attention to my reads and self evaluation of players and teams. That is all I need to do. Very rarely does someone say anything on here, that could possibly help me learn to be better. The only thing I need to pay attention to is when someone posts something that I know they know something about, such as Rail in a tennis match and things along those lines.

The ironic thing about this is that you should be the one paying attention when I post a "suggestion" on an event, not me paying attention to others.

Let me know when this poker project starts. Would be a lot of fun to sit with Ice at a table sometime.

royalfan has the numbers to back up his statements. He has earned the right to be cocky.

This may sound like a shot at you WVU. I don't intend it to be. It's only meant to be an endorsement of royalfan and I'm too lazy to re-word it.

Not meant to be arrogant, it is just what I believe. I don't need someone to come on here and tell me what I should be doing and that I am ignorant on my views of Iceman when he doesn't even have my views of Iceman correct. I think Iceman is a beauty. Found something that works for him and sticks with it and keeps looking for more such endeavors. Just because I don't think that makes him a candidate to be a great poker player, doesn't mean I don't respect the guy. Would very much enjoy to sit down and have some beverages with him sometime, just like I would many many others on here, yourself included.
