You can keep playing your word games all day long. I already explained what I meant.

Youre the only one playing word games.

You evidently don't know the meaning of simple words like "unconscious" and "senseless."

Look up the definition of both or either and tell me how someone can be knocked unconscious but not senseless. She looked pretty senseless when Rice drug her out of the elevator.

If you want to take "beat senseless" in that context, feel free. I already explained what I mean by it. Been a phrase I have used and heard my entire life and it has never been used for a single knock out punch. But feel free to keep playing your word games.

It's not "playing word games" to use a word consistent with its everyday meaning. You're the only one using everyday words and telling us that you have your own definition of the words based on how you used the words growing up.

According to your logic, "senseless" does not mean without senses.

You're just focusing on the word senseless. It's a phrase... "beat senseless".

The first definition of "beat" is

to hit (someone) repeatedly in order to cause pain or injury

War Machine's gf was hit repeatedly and "beat senseless".

Ray Rice's fiancee was knocked out.
It's really not as big of a deal as you're making it out to be, lol. I will continue using "beat senseless" to refer to those that are repeatedly hit and beaten much more than a single knockout punch. You can take that however you want.

Works for me. We'll just agree to disagree. I'm tired of arguing over it too.

FYI, you're arguing with an internet troll, if you haven't realized it already.

A troll is someone who does not talk about the thread topic but just goes around making useless comments about or to others.

Aka... you are the real troll. Like Ace and Sheriff Joe. Your buddies.

[h=1]N.F.L. Continues to Face Scrutiny Over Ray Rice Video[/h]
he N.F.L. remained on the defensive Tuesday as questions mounted over its handling of the domestic abuse case involving one of its star running backs, Ray Rice.
The league said in a statement that it had asked for “any and all information about the incident, including any video that may exist” from law enforcement officials, but “that video was not made available to us and no one in our office saw it until yesterday.” But the league still declined to say whether any of its investigators had seen the video, and why it had not requested the video from the hotel.

[h=1]Ray Rice in 'Good Spirits' and 'Staying Strong for My Wife'[/h]
Rice spoke with ESPN's Josina Anderson hours after his wife, Janay Rice, put out a statement on Instagram defending her husband as "the man I love."
Rice and his lawyers had made no public statements since TMZ.com posted a video Monday from inside the Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantic City showing the couple in the elevator, a scene that ended with Janay Rice slumping to the floor after he punched her in the head.
"I have to be strong for my wife. She is so strong... We are in good spirits," Ray Rice told ESPN. "We have a lot of people praying for us and we'll continue to support each other."
"I have to be there for (Janay) and my family right now and work through this," he said.

Ray Lewis is going to counsel Rice!

Lewis said that he had been in contact with Rice via text message Monday and plans to see him when he returns to Baltimore this week, promising that he’s going home “to be the same mentor I was the first time he walked through the door.”

That's just wonderful

If Rice is never resigned or denied millions there about a 30% chance he murders his wife

How is it worse than what people expected? What do people expect to see when someone gets knocked out? I thought it was much less severe than I imagined.
I guess i never heard he "knocked her out" like in mike Tyson's Knock Out.
I thought it was a fairly simple domestic dispute between two drunk people.

Seeing the the video for 99% of people changes the scenario. You should be able to understand this.

How do you think someone gets knocked out? From the very beginning everyone knew she was knocked out by him. Not sure how a video changes the story.

Ray Rice has been indicted for aggravated assault following an incident of domestic violence with his fiancee, Janay Palmer, in February, according to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun. Rice was initially charged with simple assault-domestic violence, but had his charges upped by a grand jury -- aggravated assault carries a prison term of three to five years, according ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Palmer had also been charged with simple assault-domestic violence after she and Rice reportedly fought at an Atlantic City casino in mid-Februrary, but that charge has been dismissed, according to Wilson. Video footage showed Rice dragging an unconscious Palmer out of elevator at the Revel Casino. According to the police summons, Rice was responsible for knocking Palmer unconscious.

I'm not the only one at all saying this. And I do have a heart. I believe in second chances and think Rice and his wife can deal with this as a family rather than making this a public stunt to destroy the rest of his life. Shit happens, people make mistakes, especially when wasted. Just saying he was already punished for knocking her out. Now Goodell is punishing him again because the video of the incident he already suspended him for came out just because public pressure put him on the hot seat.
