Im pretty sure the ratings for NBA are way down - a lot has to do with there are no fans - it just doesn't seem like basketball - they desperately need their names on the jerseys - then the protest shit is revolting to 40% of America - the BLM shit ie not helping but the no fans is a bigger problem

MLB really fell off after opening day. In general, both leagues aren't getting the audience one might expect from a nation that's been deprived of entertainment for months

Well the measuring stick he is using is the highest ratings in almost 20 years.
Of course they crashed from opening but but compared to a normal regular season game they are up.

I've always watched sports without having a clue what the political leaning was of virtually any of the participants.
I've always respected the flag, the anthem, and anything else pro American that accompanies your average sports game. When I am saluting the flag or singing the anthem my soul is feeling what many of my fellow Americans have given so that I can watch sport as a passtime which I fully enjoy.
The leagues appear to be bent on nullifying those feelings. Only ungrateful Americans could support such folly. I'm not one of them and if the players and owners and commissioners want to bite the hand that feeds them be prepared to watch that hand bite back.
