There are several ESPN women, all older, who got to where they are by knowing something about sports (Rachel included). Take a look at that female line-up today. The huge majority have their jobs based on looks and, in some cases, that is even questionable.

The one good thing about ESPN/ABC covering the finals is that it frees up my time by not watching the pre-game, halftime and post-game as I would tune in for all three on TNT.

Malika was the one crying on the air after George Floyd in reporting the NBA was shutting down. The bottom line here is that the coach's interview at the beginning of the second and fourth quarter only takes away from live action and the sideline reporter, in any sport, is relatively useless other than a springboard for the girls. It is the equivalent to the Pharmacy rep visiting doctors.

Rachel had hosting the NBA show in her contract. She will soon be very, very rich and probably on TNT.

Honestly I could care less about sideline reporters or hosts of these shows unless the host is the main focus(opinion shows like Dan Patrick, Jim Rome, Highly Questionable)of the show
And I don't think anyone finds their opinions,knowledge, personality or ability to make a show so entertaining or funny they would watch
