I could see them just paying her for a few years, doubt they want the bad pub during the great awokening. And her people seem to understand this pretty well, obviously in normal times paying a host that type of money is absurd but isn't going to look good if they let her walk. Not a coincidence they leaked this to the NYT 2 weeks before her contract runs out.
