Dru no offense but repeatedly beating into everyone's head whom is posting the best number,` really won't help you get down next time.

quote:
Lander, Lenny and Dru were both at the desk watching the board, not only were they watching but they were also discussing lines for the upcomming week. Does it concern you that Rio was more interested in watching what Cascade and Cris were doing instead watching thier own action come in???

Chips,
I thought Dru was on the phone gambling. Was he talking to Lenny AND beting with Rio AND watching the board all at once

.

Also, as surely you know, if a book doesn't follow the screen (move on air, if you will) they're going to get one-sided action (on the bad side

) ... that would be bad book-making, no?

Dicky,
Good catch on the Low Blow. I had a bad angle. After 2 I now have Cascade up by 2. Rio lost a point for the low blow, and that "linesfollow" combo did some serious damage.

Rio's clerk is put in the middle of a beef between Cascade Dru (and Lenny) and Rio's Linemaker, who obviously know each other and most likely have gone at it in the past. Should Dru get his bets at the limit, of course, did he know that he was going to cause a beef with Rio, most likley. This crap has been going on between different books forever. The only reason Rio said give the so and so a dime is because of who he was, then after some consoltation or maybe self doubt decided to give him their regular limits. CRIS can do the same thing as Cascade did all day, not to mention several other DB line mover books. This is no big deal. When some square calls and gets this treatment let me know.

Lander, Bookmakers are on the phone taking bets and watching the board all day long. Every sportsbook everywhere, around the world. Fortunalty there is only one game today which gave me an extra 10 seconds to make a recreational bet. If anyone has a problem with that, please lets hear it.

Dru,
If I was a linesman I would boot all steam players. I don't have any proof, but it sounds like you might by part of Billy's syndicate.

If you don't get back to the bench I'm going to give you a "third man in" penalty

He is Cascade and knows that betting a game that is going through changes on the DB screen is going to aggravate Rio's linemaker. Did he really wake up this morning intending to bet the Bucs and Bucs under, no. Cascade moved the line and started a minor panic, when CRIS moved things got worse, RIO thought DRU cought them with their pants down with a 38 hung and did not appreciate a fellow sportsbook taking advantage of the number, which may easily be the right number. This is infighting between books. To answer your question is Dru a steam player? Probably just plays what Lenny tells him to play.

You should send your application into Rio, they are looking for people like you. Most bookmakers like to move lines after bets come in, not to avoid them like you and RIo. Incase you didn't know, there are plenty of gamblers who like to get the best number possible that dont work for BW.

Dru,

Why didn't you call in your bets first to RIO, then change your number on the screen?

How am I wrong when Rio tries to guess which way I am going to bet then gets caught with they're pants down, AND THEN, AND THEN, throws me out after they give me the bet. Maybe someone other than Landers who understands can help out here. Oh, By the way, I have a lifetime minus 5 figures at Rio. Anyone want to give me an account now that I can't bet there?

Dru,
Are you a beard for Lenny?

Sounds like you were working together to circumvent limits.

I would supsect because its a combination of both ego and money.

When your as good as casacde you can do whatever the fu(k you want. Before they started putting up baseball overnights I loved watching books follow suit at 11am. Totals went bonkers at that time.

I think the situation is actually pretty comical.

No question Cascade was Fcking with RIO, just breaking balls. You are right the whole thing is funny. To bad Dru got bounced because of it. I really don't think he deserved it. IMHO.

My bets have nothing to do with Cascade. Lenny moved his line off my opinion. Thats all. Since Rio has always been my first choice to bet because of our relationship with the owners of Rio and unfortunalty they're main man took it into his own hands and threw me out.
