Yeah Brock is the better QB, and the Pats lost after losing Gronk, and Edelman, Amendola, Lewis, Collins, Hightower
I am glad Peyton the duck throwing QB is playing over Brock. Brock can at least throw the deep ball and stretch the field. Manning threw one TD at home in seven home games...lol. Can not wait for Sunday

this is pretty much true. NE has their team back now. and denver was going down w/ the ship last weekend w/ manning. denver would not have beaten pitt had they not fumbled last weekend. i was really surprised denver didnt make a QB switch considering how sluggish they were. it's alarming that denver couldn't do much vs pitt offensively..and they weren't abandoning a very safe gameplan as well. if NE goes up a couple of scores they will have to this week, and it could get ugly as hell for denver and manning.

Yeah that trio of weapons for Brady is a big time concern. Hopefully Chris Harris Jr. is going to be in better health on Sunday, he really seemed to struggle last week and is key to covering Edelman.

Broncos RCB Chris Harris (shoulder) is listed as probable for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Patriots.

Harris was a full participant at practice this week should be available for Sunday's AFC Championship. Of course, his effectiveness remains a huge question mark. Harris looked like he was in agony against Pittsburgh last week and even coach Gary Kubiak admitted he's essentially playing with "one arm." Look for the Pats to test Harris early and often on Sunday.

You keep harping on Manning's TD's at home but his starting record in those games is 6-2 (7-2 if you count SD when he came in and relieved Oswelier).
AND a big LOL that Osweiler is a better QB ...

Isn't that 3 pts for the home team just a general perception?

Absolutely. It's a 'safe' line for the books on things like meaningless preseason games, or early in the season before current data accumulates to get added to projections and the previous season's results. It's easy to get too hung up on it, and think there's an edge, when many other factors play into a spread. I could see NE as maybe a TD chalk at home. Make it 9 and Denver would get hammered.

While Denver messed around with some zone coverage schemes last week and gave up some big plays to the Steelers, I would expect Wade to go back to the bread & butter man to man coverage this week. Yep, that does leave them vulnerable to Gronk and the TEs, Talib may have to help out on Gronk. Wasn't Kubiak the OC for the Ravens last year in the divisional round gaining over 400+ yards versus the Patriots, a game they probably should have won? Also, the Broncos ran for 179 yards against New England in week #12 so he has had recent success against the Patriots defense. Don't discount Manning's ability to read the defense, checking into a favorable play at the LOS as well. If the Pats get out-rushed by 100+ yards once again, it's gonna be tough for them to pull this game out imo.

how many picks did Manning throw in the 7 home games? I know Denver had a great record this season, it wasnt because of Mannings play, it was the defense that won them games.

Same people who were spoutin "KC SU!!!" last week are the same ones saying Denver this week. KC > Denver, arguably. KC had no chance and were lucky to not get blown out. Alex Smith miraculously avoided a 15 yard sack on a 3rd and 14 and converted it would've set up NE up 21-6 with a short field to make it 28-6. But Kudos Mr. Smith for that play.

Denver won't sniff Brady just like KC and the rest of the league. Ball is out in 2 seconds, good luck sacking someone that fast. Denver's coverage on TEs has been below average all year, doubt they have a magical solution this week. Short 5-7 yard routes will be open all day for Brady. I think Carolina is the only team with an actual chance v NE in the playoffs. Keuchly can lock up Gronk and is the only player in the league that can. Thomas Davis and Shaq are studs also. Norman on Edelman that game will be the bowl.

good luck all regardless of the side you take. NE 10-0 with their full team, will go to 11-0.

That would be me. Lol. I'll step up to the plate. Denver is the only team that can beat New England in the AFC. They have the speed to stick with the Pats. Home field advantage should matter in this game imo. If pats were at home it would be a pats win

The choice to kick the ball @ the Jets is the type of shit that does the Patriots in. They would much rather host another afc championship than go to Denver. They beat themselves and that is the type of shit that will cost the Patriots. The game is already written.

this is very alarming and funny. also kind of sad if you bet $$ on denver as well and expect anything but losing

I bet Denver last week early at -6.5 and I was not sad at all. I was quite happy. Just saying. Anything can happen and everyone and their aunty and uncle are riding New England with the same thought process. It will be Denver or no play for myself. Just my opinion is all.

people playing denver for one reason, since public is riding on pats. they think denver covers.

pats will only lose if refs call it one sided. otherwise it will be an easy 7+ pt victory. bol on ur denver play

Oh so now Kubiak will out-coach Belichick? lol How is what happened in a Jets game have any significance in what will happen in this game? That has got to be the dumbest comment yet.

We hear so much talk about this "conspiracy & "Fix" B.S. going on in the NFL one begins to wonder if there is any truth to [it]. Professional football is big-business now days and a lot of money is tossed around resulting in a lot of temptation rising to the surface (greed is a terrible thing). One also must wonder if the NFL front office and the other(31) team owners have a little "score" to settle with New England when they let the (air) out of those footballs a year-ago. We all know the referees can easily slant the game with a "phony" call or two, or three......a subtle (off the record) message passed on to the game referees would be all it would take.....Gosh Roger, say it isn't so.

I hope Belichick is able to lose a little weight after the season ends.....He seems to have gained a lot of weight during the past year. Rumor has it that he tips the scale in the 285 to 300 lb (plus) range....way too heavy for a man his age. I hope he can do it for his health's sake.

Reminder: They won the super bowl last year. Earth to mobdeeper7239.

If anyone is going to make mistakes it's going to be Manning who has made nothing but mistakes all year (17 picks/10 games Manning, 7 picks/16 games Brady) along with Kubiak who made nothing but mistakes for the Texans. So much so that Houston got rid of him. I think Denver is a great team and I think it will be a good game. But if we want to talk about mistakes in the playoffs, Manning and Kubiak have that covered.

Um, no. I like Denver because:

1. They have the better D.
2. They are at home.
3. They are getting points.

lol Kubiaks system works with peyton because it takes pressure off the quarterback. It was the right fit, and an improvement given the current situation. Denvers coaching staff and management is the reason they are where they are this year with a noodle arm qb or a backup. Fox was just a guy there that anyone could of replaced and actually provided something more than just watch Peyton set records. and don't get me started on that loser jack del rio.

Is that why Peyton had 9 TDs and 17 INTs before getting "injured"?
