Quantum keep up the good work, glad to see they haven't scared you out of the market. I think we will see this market make a big turn upward as things settle down a bit. Earnings power is very strong for companies with very little employee wage pressures.

I got out with about 1/2 hour to spare as FAZ went down to 14.57 in after hours.

Lost a bit on DZZ because the price of gold shot up this morning. I was planning on selling DZZ to go with FAZ early in the morning but just missed selling in time. That's part of investing in the market though.

FAZ is looking good so maybe that will make up for my DZZ loss.

I missed out on an opportunity to sell FAZ @ 18 yesterday. I should have taken profits. I still believe Financials will go down so will hold FAZ for now.

Gold is now starting to drop as I mentioned above.

Financials go down with the rest of the market in late trading today. That makes me feel a lot better about not taking profits. Thursday should be an interesting day. I'm expecing this drop-off to continue to Thursday morning.

Back in FAZ @ 15.86.
USDJPY is under 90 and going down which means the market will also.

FAZ closed at 18.55 in after hours on Friday which is 16.96% above what I bought it for. Of course the price could go down before I sell so I am not taking credit here just yet.

I still kick myself for not selling during that -12.92% loss. The psychology of such a loss is based upon the notion that the fund will come back at a later date so one holds on to the fund. It's a good idea to have a maximum loss amount in case the fund never recovers as does happen in a market reversal.

The S&P made a death cross on Friday. This is when the 50-day moving average (50 DMA) goes below the 200-day moving average (200 DMA). This usually means the market will continue to fall so I am holding on to my FAZ until I see a clear indication that there will be a reversal.

There was also a close below the neckline of a head-and-shoulders which also can indicate a lower market. I don't know if I'm as sold on the head-and-shoulders indicator as I've seen where it has been a false indicator. However, coupled with the death cross it may be valid.

The USDJPY also continues to fall in an almost linear fashion. All of these indicators lead me to continue to hold until indicators signify otherwise.
