To paraphrase Reggie Jackson...they don't make 14 page threads on nobodies.
Is Neon a caring, compassionate person? Is he honest? I'd offer that every one on this thread who criticises him bases it on his perceived arrogance.
That's easy ... Prime is arrogant but as is often the case, the way a public figure is portrayed by the media is often at odds with who the person really is.
Does he tick the success boxes from Vinny? I don't know, kind of?
He seems to be a good dad who loves his children, and has two kids in college playing for him, one of whom has already got his degree. He was hired to be the head coach at a school that has a national championship in their history. Could he have been hired for the clicks? Possibly, but 27-6 in 3 years can't be explained away simply by talent imo.
He's never been in trouble with the law - well, he was arrested once at a Kroger - sounds like he let his emotions get the better of him but also that the cop might not have like him either. He doesn't drink, doesn't smoke and there are many stories that go, " .... and he was always reading the bible."
His baseball teammates loved him, as well as the staff and the brass.
Reds GM Jim Bowden:
Or the clubhouse manager who took over the position from his dad.
Or John Smoltz
He's also got 2 failed marriages, and the failed Prime Prep. Both of these stories are complicated if you read about them.
He has great relationships with his kids and in the case of his second wife, he actually won a $1million judgement against her for lying about him and got custody of all three kids. It was nasty and the kids suffered, parents don't always behave like they should in these kinds of situations. Shilo even wrote that he never wanted to be with his dad in the first place in 2017, and beat up a teacher around the same time. Six years later he's already got a degree and is playing for his dad.
His first two kids both graduated from college as well, the Shedeur and daughter #2 was national honor society in HS and at CU as well.
But anyway, I didn't mean to interrupt the flow of insults among strangers. As you were.
