Verbal's are a dime a dozen every junior/senior thinks they have to hold a press conference and choose a hat to a school they are basically saying "I might go here" until they sign that ink means nothing and not much after that either. Lets see what happens in the transfer portal. That is what I'm interested in seeing how many guys transfer that could tell us more.

True many will be awaiting to see what Deion pulls out of TP but tell me how this Season went with all his guys. I’d argue his lack of coaching and recruiting skills got him worse OLine historically, a Team Defense that ranked 126th out of 130 FBS teams. Holy $hitty D. A 1 win P12 season isn’t an improvement.
False, verbals are the lifeline IMO of the great/good programs and recruiters cuz ”most” those verbals at the top programs SIGN. We aren’t talking about one off dudes decommitting at major P5 programs at top of food chain. These guys who have verbally de committed are Buffs highest ranked rated recruits. To truly build a program the pipeline of studs needs to be deep and plentiful. That’s not happening at this point. I’d argue also Deion thinks this is the NFL and holes he has which are a $hit ton, wont be filled completely via portal and when injuries happen, who’s he filling those with? Those dudes on bench he’s trashing, encouraging fighting and just low caliber types like he just put out this past season are not getting him Wins.
Keep trying Skoal, but his lack of any track record doing this at this high level no where compares nor should sway anyone to think he’s gonna have success. But keep hoping like others. If he can turn into Saban or Kirby or name another successful football coach then I will concede you and others were right. At this point he’s done zero to even sniff success.

Called out his OL/players to press. Given how bad they did what coach dumps more gas on fire. Good ones do not. That’s not motivation. As said once before, the best motivator is the bench. Deion isn’t that smart, he’d rather bang on his own players. He trashed his own.
And Deion also to press bragged how he encourages fights and didn’t break up and kept a score card. Really? That builds teamwork and cohesion? What FN coaching book is he reading. Especially in this woke world generation of athletes.
Given just those 2 examples and I’m sure that’s just small sample of many others what 4-5 star high schooler with NIL, advisors, parents to consult with would choose Buffs and Deion. Add on his “guys” I count 3 (sons + Hunter) are only ones getting significant NIL. Does any kid think they are gonna go to Boulder and score a big NIL. Maybe for FightClub but not for football.
Let’s see who actually signs, portals in and gets CO > 1 conf win.
Side note, ask yourself again do I want to go to a school/program not going to a Bowl game that equates to almost 2 months of extra practices and a game or go to Boulder, not practicing, not getting better on field, not building a team, not playing in game to attract those scouting in high school or portal.
Seems easy to see Deion isn’t really improving Buffs other than bringing his boys and Hunter but outside that he’s a wrecking ball hoping he catches fire with his brand of ball. Maybe worked at low level sports but isn’t formula vs P5 coaches, players they face.
