It's starting to look that the under 3 1/2 wins prop was a bad beat.. TCU and Col St were very lucky wins.
But they still were wins…can’t believe Prime Time not getting any respect for improving on a 1-11 team…maybe a bowl game next season…

He is getting a lot of respect!

Don't get it twisted.

Job well done there for his first year

Great for the program and NCAA.

Cocky? Yes. A little too cocky.

But that's today's age.

Good for football no doubt.

He didn’t improve a 1-11 team he fired all those players

basically said they were losers and wouldn’t coach them up

Why would he be held to having to “coach up” kids that he made no commitment too, didn’t recruit? coachs who go to new teams do this every year? What’s different?

Let’s see if A&M can beat 86 new players

Didn’t Nick say they bought the best recruits last year

yeah it’s a new way to reload a team with the portal and cash available now

I agree with you on how they put college teams together these days. I don’t care for it very little loyalty.

Not even there one year yet. Right, wrong or indifferent, he needs more time in my world. At least people are attending games

Anyhow, he needs to recruit, he's needs experience, and then we get to judge the X's and O's. For now, it's mostly under talented kids playing on emotion.

And no, I'm not a guy who thinks it's us against the big bad world is a long term winner. Long term success requires talent, solid coaching, preparation and strategy. That's TBD
He will be able to recruit, at least in the short term. Can he actually coach though? I'm not convinced. I know he had some very good seasons at Jackson St but was that due to his players talent being head and shoulders better than the opposition? That will be answered as we go forward.

I'm also not convinced that he can cultivate a sustained winning culture. He has not treated his coaching staff and many of the players with much respect. I'm curious to see how many of the current players want out of the dog and pony show after this season. I could be wrong but he seems like style over substance and is as selfish as ever with his self promotion.

All that said, i have always liked Deion but I don't think he has anyone's best interests in mind other than himself and his son. Speaking of his son, he seems so arrogant and I'm curious how NFL personnel view him.
