Scott:

do you have a current cinn Bengals 2nd quarter scoring? I believe you had a incredible number on that.

Also, somebody told me today that Temple is out scoring opponents something like 75-6 in 3rd quarter?

Vit the CIN 2Q advantage was for HOME games only. The tally was CIN 151, Opponent 32 over a 15 game stretch. However, despite blowing out KC they lost the 2Q by 0-9. Then this past Sunday with no score in the 2Q they were driving late when SEA picked off Dalton in the EZ. They converted the INT into a FG. So it's now 151-44 over 17 games. Next Play will be on 11/5. I'll bet that one but if it loses I'll keep tallying results but I won't jump back in unless the dominance is reestablished.

Vit 75-6 is correct for the Temple 3Q tally over 5 games this Season. Also, if you give a Hoot Temple has won its last 3 3Qs by 47-0 and its last 2 Second Halves by 55-0.

Just a few trends I pulled out for today's college games in case they help:

- FSU 5-15 their last 20 on board. Also just 2- 8 last ten as home chalk L‘Ville 7- 1 vs. line last 8 eight away from Papa John’s (this game is moved to Noon)

-Syracuse hasn’t beat UVA since 1977; UVA is 7-2 ATS at home vs FBS foes. 'Cuse 2-5 ATS run & 1-4 in ACC

-VIRGINIA TECH at MIAMI-FLORIDA
Beamer 4-1 as visiting dog past two years. Al Golden only 11-12 last 12 as chalk, Golden 13-18 last 31 overall vs. line

OKLAHOMA at KANSAS STATE
Bill Snyder 25-12 as dog since returning to K-State in 2009. Cats 6-1 last seven as home dog. Stoops 8-5 last 13 as visiting chalk.

FLORIDA at LSU.
Les Miles 4-1 SU/ATS last 5 vs. Gators. But Jim McElwain 5-1 ATS this year and 26-9 his last 35 ATSwith CSU & Gators

RUTGERS at INDIANA.
Hoosiers 8-3 last 11 vs. line, also 5-1 last six vs. points as host. Rutgers 11-6 as road dog since 2011

MICHIGAN STATE at MICHIGAN
Dantonio 0-6 ATS this year. Though MSU is 6-1 SU and 7-0 ATS last seven in series, and 10-1 last 11 as dog. SU series winner is 18-4 ATS. Sparty on 15-3 ATS road run.

NEBRASKA at MINNESOTA
Mike Riley 2-4 ATS this year, 4-14 ATS since last year including OSU. But, Huskers 7-2 ATS last nine as visitor. Minny 0-6 ATS off Purdue

ARIZONA STATE at UTAH
Utes 1-5 ATS last six as Pac-12 host. Utes 0-4 SU vs. ASU since entering Pac-12. Utes on an 11-5 ATS run and AZ State 4-12 ATS dog run

PENN STATE at OHIO STATE
Nittany Lions 0-5 ATS as visitor for James Franklin. Lions runs: 2-8 ATS away & 2-6 in big 10 play. Ohio St no covers last five this season and no covers last six at big horseshoe. But, OSU 8-2 ATS as home team in this series

What a great sports day, enjoy.

A few I like today at Keeneland...

Race 4...#6 Happy to Go 3-1 ML Class of the field moves to the barn of Ingrid Mason, who wins at a 39% rate and ROI of $5.07 when showcasing new runners in his barn. Been running almost exclusively on poly track surfaces but should handle the switch to dirt.

Race 5...#1 Go Navy Go 6-1 ML Ran 5th in a key race first time out at Kentucky Downs, where a few from that race have come back to win including the winner of that race Airoforce, who won the G3 Bourbon earlier in this meet. First time Lasix.

Race 7...#4 Bandwidth 5-2 ML Beat a good group easily by over 6 lengths in his debut at Churchill Downs last month. Second place finisher,Synchrony, came back to win convincingly last week here in a strong Maiden race. Should relish the stretch out to 1 1/16.

Race 9...#10 Chide 5-1 ML Bar of Gold, who finished 2nd twice in last 2 starts to Cavorting who is one of the top 3 year old fillies in the country, will probably be the overwhelming favorite here but I will take a shot with the outside horse Chide for the upset. Chide has been keeping good company running against fillies like I'm a Chatterbox, Curlina and Include Betty this summer in Grade 1 route races. Took a 2 month break after a 5th place finish at Saratoga behind the 3 mentioned above and return at Churchill last month to run 2nd in the G3 Dogwood. Blinkers were added for that race and second time blinkers is an angle I like.

Will possibly post a late pick 4 ticket later today...

Loser yest with Tor -1' +146 (@ KCy)
Playoffs to date 5-5 +242

Saturday:

Kansas City +146 (vs Tor)

Ventura has thrown two Playoff stinkers but this kid can pitch. Hoping he finds his groove here at this nice home price.

Well since Ace touched on a few trends I have a few. But some of these I did not wager on for one reason or another:

Missouri = 11-0 ATS since 1996 facing opponent who beat them by 34 or more in previous meeting.

Oklahoma 30-0 SU in Reg Sea since 1999 when off a Loss / 11-1 ATS with last year Revenge.

USC 10-1 SU since 2001 off a Loss if now 1-2 SU last 3 games.

Va Tech = 25-1 SU in first Conference Road game of Season.

Nebraska has lost 4 times this year on opponent's final snap of the game!

Happy to Go was a winner but bet down to 8-5, and Go Navy Go ran 3rd. Been another day of chalk for the most part but decent exotic payouts so far. So think I will try the late pick 4 and hope my choice in race 9 comes in to boost the payout.

Race 7 $1 pick 4...1,2,4/1,2,6/2,10/5,8 costing $36

vitt,

You didn't go 7-2 yesterday. You lost USC, Akron and LA Tech. So your record is 29 wins counting all your plays since Thursday night.

You are correct.....somehow was counting Akron as a win even though they lost by 100 points

Any thoughts on your steelers today? Thinking Pitt may have trouble moving ball against Arizona.

Took a tough loss by the hook when East Carolina gave up a 47 yard TD pass with :30 secs left in the game. Would have been a very nice day. But, my day wasn't as bad as the Michigan kickers!

I was talking to a buddy yesterday and we were both surprised the Steelers are underdogs. But, Vick trying to pass against that secondary is probably not going to be pretty.
I can see Pitt hanging in here but I just don't have much confidence in their offense today. Also AZ leads the NFL in scoring and if Pitt falls behind 14-0 they are in big trouble. The Steelers have had trouble covering tight ends and they allowed Antonio Gates to catch nine passes for 92 yards and he scored two touchdowns. Palmer has a lot of options. The guy that covers them and writes for the paper says AZ by 3, I think Pitt either wins a tight one or gets murdered.
