Hey Fish,

What can you tell us about ease and cost for moving money in and out of Skybook?

I personally do 98% of my banking through Neteller at all books.

With Skybook, they allow me to deposit free of charge and neteller withdrawls are a mere $15 up to $2500..........however, they run periodic specials where the withdrawls are completely free.

All my withdrawls have taken anwhere from 30 miniutes to no more than 3 hours.

I still stand by what was told me by some very reliable sources, people in some of the books that have been mentioned here. At this point of the year, almost all offshore operations will beg and borrow before they steal. With less than two months until they get a flood of incoming dollars and the corresponding heavy amounts of action, you have to be at the absolute end of the rope to go under right now. I wouldn't be surprised if some books were in theoretical trouble at the moment, but that could all change depending on how they do in football. To throw in the towel right now takes a completely unworkable situation, one where racing to get your money out might not even get it done unfortunately. The situation starts to change around the end of October when the disaster becomes evident for the books that don't do well while the others that were in trouble will start breathing a sigh of relief if they are sufficiently 'plus' for the season.

Shrink,

It does us no good to know that SOME books are in trouble if we don't know which ones! Your original post is very trollish you have to admit and it works against the industry and therefore this site as well. It's almost like you've become a disgruntled employee and are doing some sort of internal sabotage job. Remember your word carries a lot of weight and if I were you I'd use it more responsibly. As a player I have no use for anything you've said in this thread until you start naming names.

WildBill makes an excellent point. However, I'd rather not do business with a sports book that needs to win in Football to stay afloat. What sometimes happens next is that they use their FRESH post ups to pay out old debts. Then, it becomes a horse race unfortunately for the gamblers who may ask for a pay out at a later time..

DARRYL-- I JUST NAMED THREE BOOKS FOR YOU!!!!

DO YOU THINK SHRINK HAS MONEY AT APEX???

DO YOU THINK HE HAS MONEY AT ROYAL, A BOOK THAT WAS JUST TAKEN DOWN DUE TO SLOW PAYS??

HE ALSO STATED THAT HE IS COMPLETELY CONFIDENT IN THE CURRENT ADVERTISERS HERE!!

Quite frankly, THE SHRINK gets much much to much grief in this forum for all the good he does for this industry.

BUT NOW I SUPPOSE I AM KISSING SHRINKS ASS BY SAYING THIS.

I am off to dinner, take it easy on Shrinkwrap.

Darryl,

I am VERY HAPPY here, as I LOVE this site and always will. The new owners couldn't be any nicer to me than they have been and sometimes, I am NOT an easy person to work with, lol..

If you can't comprehend anything I have stated, then that's your problem and not mine. It certainly appears that others have...

Since Fishhead brought up ROYAL, I can say that I know of nobody that is currently being slow paid by them and they want back on this site. However, I want to see some more time pass by without any incidence before making that decision along with the owners..

Fish,

You seem to be taking upon yourself what is said about your fearless leader. That's nice, but this is more about his own specific comments and not about the official position of the Rx.

Shrink,

I'm glad you are not starting any sort of counter-revolution but I would hate to be a start-up solid book still building trust and earning a reputation while you scare people away from my book with your comments. Or is it true that ALL books are having a hard time? If so, then I take back what I said. But if not, then I maintain you are not being fair. Credit and punishment should be handed out where it is due and not as overall blanket statements that misinform people in some cases.

I can't believe I'm sounding like a bookie here. I'm one of the people who is the first to slam the slow-paying underfunded shops, but if there is one solid one out there who does not fall into the category you mention, then I can't help but empathise with him for you making his life undeservedly harder.

My advice...Keep reasonable balances with all of your books. In other words, never keep an amount of money with any book that would devastate you if they went under.(Aces Gold, etc.) Stay diversified. Pick a FEW books that you really like and stay with them, however never keep all of your eggs in one basket. Look for warning signs. If your books starts doing something that seems very out of character, i.e. they start raising your limits to something crazy or they start only paying once a week, etc. ask for a payout and feel out the situation. Always keep your ears open, but keep an open mind. There will always be people who have an agenda who will badmouth a book without any validity. Listen to the people you trust and follow your own instincts. The most imporant thing IMO is to keep reasonable balances, and take payouts when you are up. Good luck to all, and enjoy your summer!!

I'm personally very happy that The Shrink said it was not an advertizer at the RX. Because if WSEX ever had trouble --I would never play at another offshore book.

I just can NOT understand for the life of me why people post up with books foe a "bonus". The very word itself says trouble--to me anyway!

If you see books aroung for a few years really not giving AWAY BONUSES< THESE ARE SAFE BOOKS TO PLAY AT! Be Aware of books giving away big bonuses at this time of the year!

One should be careful all year long every year as long as you have money invested. Never take a break from reading what people have to say about sportsbooks. The day you take a break could be the day you are robbed.

Darryl,

How long are you here on board now? Why still ask these questions?

There are books out there that gamble and there are those that do proper bookmaking. Let me start saying that even Ladbrokes and William Hill gamble! So being a gambler is no shame, but there is a difference.

Books that do not gamble (AS FAR AS I COULD JUDGE):
- Pinnacle (even an RX advertiser)
- Tradebetx
- BetFair
- BetDaq
- Macauslot
- Indosoccer/Pacificsportclub/Indobetonline

If you ever ask for a payout from one of these books/exchanges, they just cannot pay you quick enough with a smile! One book even once phoned me and asked me to change my bank account, as the Scottish runned bank I was using would take them one more week to transfer money to, while if I would give them a proper Chinese bank account, then the money would still be on the account the next day.

Books that gamble, but you may consider your money safe:
- Hong Kong Jockey Club on its football
- Ladbrokes
- William Hill

The worst thing that can happen with these books so far is that they will simply close your account or limit your bet size.

I can't believe I'm sounding like a bookie here. I'm one of the people who is the first to slam the slow-paying underfunded shops, but if there is one solid one out there who does not fall into the category you mention, then I can't help but empathise with him for you making his life undeservedly harder.
Most of the other books out there are simply gamblers (INCLUDING THEGREEK). I have no hard feelings for them whatsoever. When you bet with them, you must be aware of the fact that it is a man to man fight that you are having and I love it. These guys when they need to pay you, generally they will not smile, simply because you are not the only one that they need to pay. All these books are being 'raided' by forum readers that are all line shoppers, if not middlers, scalpers, etc. Not in a life time that I would like to start a book that advertises on these forums and accept free Neteller deposits/withdrawals. Basically have a quick look at how you are doing at the individual books and if you have been beating one of those gamblers hard, give them some fresh air!

You probably should get your money out.

Funny to me how the books that are "gold standard" and are operated by "stand-up guys" and are backed with "deep pockets" can find a way to the bottom of the barrel.

Give me a guy like "dimeplayersonly" who will give you a gamble everyday, pay every week, appreciate your business and do all of that with no drama.
