What year is this from? 1950's?

Edit: does that say 1943 at the bottom?

I would guess early '50's but that just based on that the graphics on the menu seem to me at least to be more 1950's than '40's...El Rancho Vegas was the first hotel-casino on the Strip. It opened on April 3, 1941.....

(according to the people at Caesar's anyways, you'd expect that they would know: http://blog.caesars.com/las-vegas/las-vegas-casinos/feast-your-eyes-on-vintage-vegas-menus/ )

Mindboggling how people post these things without dates. Including me. :):)

I may yet be able to find out.....I can't read the tiny print at bottom....

whatever date it is if you can find a way to transport us back there I'll buy you a Prime Rib Dinner.

A kangaroo fight is seen in this March 15, 1985 photo at Circus Circus in Las Vegas. Referee Betty Krause moves in to separate Boomer and Carol Pullman during a match. The kangaroo fought several times a day. (Wayne Kodey/Las Vegas ***************)
